This chair is great. It’s not too big and not too small it’s just right. Both me and my husband fit in it perfectly and comfortably and we are a size large and x-large. The quality of the material is very good. It moves very easy, reclines smoothly, swivels, rocks, it’s great to have with a baby. We got the linen creme one and it’s just like the picture, it looks lovely. I’m so glad we bought this chair it’s gonna be highly used with a new baby. It was easy and quick to set up just a couple minutes. If your looking for a nursery chair this one is very nice an I recommend.

I wanted a powered recliner that was also a glider/rocker, fit well into my small space, and had a contemporary look - this Chita chair is the most comfortable - and best-looking - recliner I’ve ever seen or used! I’m 5’5” tall and heavy, and I experience a lot of joint pain and stiffness throughout my entire body (arthritis/fibro/injuries). This chair’s foam has just the right balance of support and “give” for me, and the fixed lumbar cushion is the perfect size and location to ease my lower back pain. All that said, I’m most pleased with the upholstery. I have decades of experience in architecture, interior design, and furniture design, and I’m quite sure that this is a high-quality vinyl upholstery that will last for years and years. I look forward to the days when more environmentally-friendly fabrics will offer this level of wear… but for now, my choices are governed by durability, look/feel, and price point. The stitching and finishing are beautiful. I found the chair to be SUPERBLY packaged and protected (it took me quite a while to cut/break down all the layers of cardboard!) - I haven’t found any damage whatsoever. The chair is heavy, but I did manage to shove the box up my lobby stairs and into my apartment, and I unboxed and assembled it by myself (it took about 30 minutes to unbox). There was no way I could totally lift the piece without help. Assembly was a piece of cake - you just make sure to properly align the metal parts, and be sure to SHOVE DOWN on the back until it clicks into the base. Make sure everything is aligned and doesn’t look crooked at the seat and back). I can imagine that failing to do this last step may be why some customers had problems with metal parts breaking. It’s a good thing that assembly is simple, because I couldn’t find ANY instructions until the next day when I started breaking down the cartons. Taping the instructions to the chair’s bubble wrap would be a great idea, Chita! I’m thrilled with this chair, and would happily order another if I had room!

We decided to splurge on this chair for our nursery, and it’s been one of the best decisions we’ve made. I was worried about it fitting in our space, but it fits perfectly and has become an essential part of our daily routine. The comfort level is amazing—whether I’m nursing, rocking my baby to sleep, or just taking a moment to myself, this chair is a dream. The smooth swivel and rocking motion work wonders for helping my little one drift off to sleep, and the reclining feature is perfect for late-night feeds. What really sold us, though, is its sturdiness. It supports not just me and the baby but also our dog, who has declared this chair the unofficial family throne. We’ve tested this thing with all three of us piled on it, and it hasn’t so much as squeaked under the weight of our cozy chaos. It’s also versatile! Beyond being a lifesaver for naps and nursing, it works beautifully as a backdrop for monthly milestone photos (bonus: it looks great in pictures!). We plan to keep it for years to come and use it in other rooms after its nursery days are over. If you’re debating whether to spend a little more for a quality chair, trust me—it’s worth it. This has been one of the most used and loved pieces of furniture in our home. Pro Tip: Assembly was quick and easy, so you’ll be rocking (and possibly sharing it with your dog) in no time!

Very comfy and high-quality recliner. Nice for nursing, bottle feeding and story time. I wish it was adjustable for shorter people like me, im 5'1 and to fully place my lower back on the lumbar pillow i have to scoot a bunch of times. Hard to so when u are carrying a baby. Getting up with a sleeping baby its prerrty hard to as u have to move forward a bunch of times, and u end up waking the baby. I wish the lumbar pillow would be adjustable for shorter people.

I love this chair. I bought it 2 years ago and I am reviewing it now on purpose. I purchased the off white linen fabric chair. The reclining is effortless (push button for reclining and back to normal) because of my disability with my hand. The buttons are on the right side. Also, charging capability for usb and usb-c (???). Both anyway. The chair swivels and rocks when not in reclining position. The chair doesn’t rock in reclining position however it does swivel but I don’t recommend doing that because you may bump something. When fully reclined, the head/back of the chair doesn’t go back to far that you bump into a wall but the reclining position is quite substantial. I love the reclining foot/leg area because there’s no open space. The fabric still looks new! I do wear a lot of sunscreen so I do place a big towel or blanket over the seat and foot/leg area of the chair to prevent staining. This chair is firm but not uncomfortable. It’s not squishy either so getting in and out of it is arthritis friendly, or other discomfort related issues. The cushion is still intact and not dented. I bought the standard size. I am 165lbs and average height so the chair doesn’t have a bunch of unused space by my sides. The chair itself could be considered “good for small spaces” because it’s not a traditional recliner that is big and bulky. It’s also very disguised looking. No one knew it was a recliner! It arrived very nicely packaged without issues. Simple assembly with only putting the bottom ring on. The chair plugs in. The cord is forgiving but not long and obnoxious. 🙂 (The pics are dark. Sorry! I’m doing this at night because I have a few minutes to get this done now).

This chair is great. It's comfortable and very modern looking. It doesn't take up a large footprint which we wanted due to space but still feels big when sitting in it. I am a 6ft 220lb man and there is still room to spare when I am holding my daughter. I like how the foot rest raises a good amount before the back rest starts to decline. Would definitely recommend this chair for a nursery.

I rarely write reviews but just for the chair and it’s AWESOME. Also it was basically assembled so you don’t need to do much which was such a nice surprise

Worth every penny!

After extensive research for a rocking, recliner chair for my first grandchild, I decided on the Chita Living Tracee in faux leather. It arrived quickly, the color is even better in person, it's footprint is compact yet roomy. I am confident the chair will get a lot of use and a great spot for me to also rest my tired legs at the end of the day.
