Life saver, straightforward, good quality,
I used this on my 3 week backpacking trip to Spain for my tirzepatide vial where I never had refrigeration. I’m pretty new to GLP-1 so I didn’t know what to expect going on this long of a trip with no refrigeration. This thing was a life saver. I inject once a week. This thing kept my medicine cool and at an even temperature. It stayed cool longer than it even says it will. The small square fit one vial perfectly, maybe could’ve fit two. The morning before I left, I followed the directions and soaked it in a bowl of cold water. From there, I just ran it under the sink. I stayed in hostels, so I just ran it under the cold faucet for a minute or two until those beads soaked up. I only had to do this maybe 4 times. It kept it cool that long! I had to be cognizant of keeping it somewhere breathable, so I used the outer mesh side pocket of my backpack and it worked perfect.

Has been a great product for 2 years and counting!
I am very please with the Frio Cooling Wallet. It especially helps during long flights and no where to put your insulin to keep it cool (notice I did not say cold). I simply wet it, put my insulin vials in it, slip it in the pouch and and forget about it until I get to wherever I am going to pull out my "Medi-Fridge" (which is also a great product) from my suitcase. Does it keep whatever inside cold? No, it will not keep your items cold. It will keep your items cool. This thing is not a refrigerator. This product is made for short trips. I used mine for 12 hours at a time. I then re-wet it slightly the next morning and used it another 12 hours. But I personally think it worked great and kept my insulin cool enough. Also, they call this a "COOLING WALLET" not a "FREEZING-BITTER COLD WALLET". Does it last 45 Hours like advertised? I have no idea. I didn't use it this long. I used it for 12 hours, and then by morning it still seemed cool. But I still added a little water just in case for the rest of the day. And once I am done using it, I just forget about it. Does the gel leak? You do see the gel coming through the mesh (or whatever fabric it is) a little. But it does not get on anything, it is non-toxic (I don't suggest you lick it or eat it... its not an ice cream) and does not smell (if you are into sniffing things). I know when you hear "leak" you get scared. Don't. The mesh is like a sponge, you simply see it inside of the mesh, it never really "seeps" out or anything. I wouldn't even call it a leak. Plus, the pouch that comes with this product helps... and once this thing dries, the gel goes back in and you no longer see it (funny, reminds me a of the blob). Does it last? I have had mine for 2 years and use it a lot. HELPFUL HINTS: Be sure if you are traveling on an airplane that you open your pouch before you get the security area so they can see in it. Also be sure to tell them it is a "cooling pouch" to keep your insulin (or whatever) cool. Then show them your prescription letter or insulin box with the prescription label on it. I know the company says it lasts 45 hours. But it doesn't hurt after about 12 hours to re-wet it slightly. I do not mean dunk it in water, I just put it under the faucet and made it damp again. I am not saying it doesn't last 45 hours, I am just saying this seemed to help me. DO NOT PUT IT IN A CLOSED CONTAINER! A lot of people when they travel, like to put things in containers or zip-lock bags. THIS NEEDS AIR to keep it cool. Without air, it will just be a big blob (gel) in a pouch. And I don't think you want to pay for a "Frio Big Blob in a Pouch". Hope I helped the people who had problems with this product and the people who are thinking about purchasing this. I know I loved t and it has helped me out a lot.

keeps my insulin pen or two vials cooler and more even temped
I bought this after having been given one and liking it; it keeps my insulin at at a more even temperature when I'm on the go. Pro's + it keeps my insulin's temperature from swinging, so it doesn't get as stressed from changes and lasts better + it works exactly as it says: soak the bag in water, then slow evap from the crystals inside keep the bag cooler than outside temp + in cold weather it actually keeps my insulin pen from getting as cold in the car or in my pack, tho I don't remember the product info saying that, I just see that it does, but wouldn't if I forgot it out there in a hard freeze or dunked in a cooler for too long + one bag fits 2 vials top to bottom, or one pen + helps when I travel, I use one bag for each -- a vial or two of long acting in one, and my short acting pen in the other + all I do to keep the crystals "charged" is run fresh water inside and over the inner bag every 2nd or 3rd day depending on humidity, that seems to be enough to keep it wet enough without swelling it too tight + its not going to wear out Con's - if I soak the bag too long, my insulin pen is a very tight fit, gives me fits trying to get it back out without pulling the top off (or it out of the top, depending on which way I stuffed it into the bag); the vials are tight but can be squeezed up and out ok; it takes a few hours or half a day to let it dry down smaller for a better fit - this new blue one has a little shorter "use window" than the purple one I was given; the older one seems to hold for another day; not sure why; still, they both work well - I do put it in an unsealed sandwich baggie if I put it in my purse, or else it gets my stuff damp, but this cuts down on its cooling ability so it can't stay in the baggie; even leaving the baggie open isnt enough air for it to really do its cooling job but DOES still insulate - I needed to soak it then sort of squish/swish/clean it in running water, as it felt slimy 2 first times but cleaned up ok and stayed clean - it doesn't hold two of my insulin pens because of the way the 4 tubes of water crystals are sewn; kinda wish it did - the price made me think twice but I did buy after me hemming and hawing

Perfect solution for pre-filled medication syringes that need refrigeration during travel!
I haven’t used the product left as we are traveling internationally in 3 weeks but I can tell this will be perfect to take 4 Mounjaro pre-filled syringes with me on the trip. I was looking for something that would keep the pens cold during our travel and this is perfect. No ice packs needed, simple to use and easily fits 4 pens in the pouch. I will come back and give an update after our trip. But I think it will be perfect! Arrived quickly and seems to be a quality product. The color is pretty and will be easy to spot in my personal item.

Worked way better than I thought. Kept my pen cool even when packed in a motorcycle pannier riding around Spain.

My initial order didn't arrive - I contacted the seller they posted another straight away which I received. I previously ordered one but in the mini version which is great but only big enough for 1 insulin bottle. I ordered this thinking small would be slightly bigger, but it is massive far to big. Nothing wrong with the wallet. In my opinion this should be described as medium not small.

Bought this to keep my insulin cold on a vacation, it did just that. Bag seems a little flimsy, but it's held up to a couple trips with no issues now. Does what it says, does it well, decently priced. I'd recommend.
