My doctor recommended OWYN as an alternative to Whey protein shakes (I can’t digest whey without issues not to mention I could never find a powder that tastes ok). I was using the regular non coffee caffeinated OWYN shakes but the taste of those was odd- it always left a weird aftertaste. When I found these, I decided to give them a try. I use pea protein but it doesn’t mix well with coffee so this is my coffee replacement. I order the flavor variety pack and they all taste great. Just sweet enough without being fake, and the coffee gives it a better taste than the regular shakes.The shake itself is thinner than a milkshake but thick enough to not be like water. There is no gritty odd texture and it goes down smooth. I do have to drink these over a longer period of time; I’ve noticed that if I drink too fast I end up with stomach cramps and extreme nausea. Otherwise these are a good value. They do fill you up and sometimes I have to make myself actually eat lol

I love these. I enjoy coffee so I’d mix OWYN with cold brew and this saves me a step. I’m a breastfeeding mom so I want a clean, quick breakfast with protein and the caffeine is also needed for a new mom! I pour over ice and pair it with a hard boiled egg or banana and it keeps me satisfied until lunch. I’ve tried chocolate and caramel and they’re both great. A little bitter but, I don’t mind because I like the taste of coffee. If you don’t enjoy a stronger coffee taste, you may want to pass on these.

Only giving 3 stars because it needs more coffee flavor, otherwise fine.Regular drinker of the OWYN meal replacement shakes, and decided to try the coffee versions.Pros-Even better texture than the meal replacement shakes. Not as thick and actually like drinking a bottle of Starbucks mocha as far as consistency, which I liked.Flavor is good, not strong enough on the coffee however. ( in fairness, most bottled mochas are too mild imo. )Mocha is my favorite, Carmel and vanilla are fine.Caffeine is a nice amount.Most likely will not order again but would just add an espresso shot to my chocolate meal replacement shakes instead.Would recommend to someone who enjoys a milder coffee flavor and wants the protein and other benefits of the OWYN shakes.

Inreally wanted to like these because they are great for you. 0 net carbs, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, soy free, etc with protein and other good stuff.... hot the flavor. I can't stand the flavor. It's not chalky like regular protein drinks are, that's not the issue... it tastes like I'm drinking an amalgamation of seeds (not in a good way). It even has the bitterness of a seed shell. Nowhere in this does it taste like coffee, or any of the coffee flavors listed (example vanilla latte). I tried adding Splenda and the taste got worse. I really wanted to love these but I can't get past the taste.

I purchased this for my dad, who had cancer and at the end simply stopped eating. He was difficult to please, but loved these. Sometime thereafter he could no longer swallow and had a gastric catheter. I was able to dilute these shakes and feed him using the gastric catheter, with the approval of his physician, who was very impressed with the nutritional info. Unfortunately my dad passed, but for these he would have not been able to eat at all. Thanks for all the effort to create this wonderful product.

Just like any "diet" drink, it has a little bit of a chalky taste and or aftertaste. The aftertaste is not as bad and it tastes well. The mocha in the drink does hit very hard. No complaints.

I like the taste and have found it is a "cleaner" (less additives) than.most other protein shakes.
