Q: Does the mic work with then phone? I need these to work for phone conversations, otherwise they will be junk to me.

Yes, the mic works great. I have several different earbuds and my 82-year-old mother says she can hear me best on these. Never had an audio issue on calls.

Q: Do they make clips/hooks for these earbuds to keep them in your ears?

They do come with at least 3 different sizes of rubber ends for different ear sizes.

Q: does this have mute button, to mute mic?

No, most base earbuds generally don't unless it's a special feature.

Q: Hello, will this work with a Samsung A 53?

These require a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is not one on the A53.
