This brush is great for detangling, plus exfoliating the scalp (no nasty, snagging ball tips, either), and the bristle plastic it superior. I like these bristles much better than the cheap types who use that icky-feeling, weak polyethylene (ziplock bag plastic). This feels more like a strong, springier plastic nylon type, similar to how TR90 feels, and I love TR90 nylon. I DON'T like polyethylene, and yes, I instantly know the difference. Super brush and Unbrush are excellent for these well-performing bristles. I bought a similar cheaper pair that stole the vent look, and nope, that junk was polyethylene. I gave them away. I have repeat-purchased these Super brushes and Unbrushes many times, at least a dozen. For those manufacturers wanting to compete who are using cheap plastics--reconsider your approach to business, as there is everything to be said for a return customer, and you are losing returning customers. I am a return customer on this product for good reason, trust has been established because the product and seller earned my trust and are trustworthy as far as their word and their higher quality bristles in this brush. I have to say, though, as far as the handle, I would dearly LOVE to have the handle in this exact design and curve with a window back and nice thin handle like this, show up in bamboo. I want a bamboo handle option. I want it so much so, that I have bought bamboo brushes and removed their bristles, and replaced them with these Super Brush and Unbrush bristles. There are two other brands with good bristle in this style (one name starts with an "S", and the other is a British brand with their flag on the package) I've found that also use this same exact tough bristle plastic, and I've bought a dozen of them over time. I have bought at least 15-20 brands to research who uses this favorite bristle material of mine, and those that use polyethylene or cheaper, they are in the trash with no repeat buys from me. This one, though, I highly recommend.

This brush REALLY DOES work! I saw girls with 4c hair texture brushing their hair with this starting from ROOT TO BOTTOM and not tangling AT ALL! I was like...uh uh...ain't no way that brush is THAT good! I'm half African and my hair texture is 3c+4a texture. My thought was that if it can brush from the root down on 4c coils without getting tangled at all, then it should be able to do the same to mine. Well I tried it on a section of my hair DRY starting at the roots, and it brushed right through my thick curly hair! Then I tried it in the shower on my hair while wet, and baby this brush sure did go from root to bottom with ZERO tangle! I have NEVER in my curly girl life been able to do that with a brush, until this THIS brush! I was literally shocked, I expected a few tangles, especially starting from the root down, but I really wanted to test this brushes ability to do what it claims. And it blew me away! I always brush starting from the ends up to the root, to help keep hair breakage at a minimum. And I still do with the brush to be extra cautious, even though with this brush I really don't have to. This really cut down on my hair fall while brushing, due to its design in how it works. No more pulling my hair out while brushing! This brush is expensive, so I was definitely hesitant to purchase it, and it looks really basic in its design when I took it out of the box. But I am thoroughly impressed by it! This will be on my list as birthday and holiday gift ideas! Because it works so well, it's money well spent. And I really love all the color options as well. It's not difficult to clean either, another plus. I highly recommend this brush if you're having the same issues as me, as well as wanting to preserve and maintain your hair health, thickness, and length Add this to your hair care regimen, it's a hair game changer y'all!

So I had been seeing videos and reviews on Facebook about the unbrush for months.. Everyone was claiming it goes through hair like butter, doesn't matter or hurt no matter the hair type, and saying their kids always cried when brushing their hair until they found this brush. I thought they were probably exaggerating at least to some degree but the longer my son kept growing out his hair the more I thought about buying one to see for myself. I purchased the brush last week and when it came in I knew the biggest test would be my son's hair. He is biracial, his hair is very coarse, curly, SO THICK, and will literally start tangling and matting if it isn't brushed at least twice a day.. however it was impossible to even run fingers through his hair so naturally brushing it with a brush or comb hurt and he would complain the entire time. I told him about the brush and was in the middle of a sentence telling him "It's probably just a regular brush and has been hyped up on the internet" but I didn't even get the full sentence out and stopped everything I was saying in an instant because he went to run it through his hair and it just glided right on through. He sat there and brushed his entire tangled head with not one single snag ! I was absolutely dumbfounded. He was absolutely dumbfounded. He immediately ran inside to find his Dad and tell/show him as his Dad is where he gets his thick, coarse, curly hair from. He currently has an afro so of course that means tight, tiny, spiral curls.. He went to brush his hair with it and the same thing happened.. it just glided through like a hot knife through butter. We are OBSESSED. My youngest daughter is only 1 but she has a lot of hair that also tangled easily so this brush is going to be a godsent for our entire Family. My son begged me to let him have it for himself and if this brush has made him happy to take care of his hair then that is a huge win. I'm leaving this review after I came back to order another one for us girls to share. I was very leary about paying $20 for a single hair brush but IT IS WORTH EVERY DIME ! So much so that I'm happily paying another $20 so we can have two of them lol. If you are on the fence, get off of it and order this ! Believe the hype because IT WORKS !!!

what a great product! I bought this for my 5 year old granddaughter who is autistic and hates her hair brushed. This has made it a lot easier, not so many tears now.

I have long, wavy hair that tangles easily, and this brush has honestly been a game changer. It gets through knots quickly without ripping my scalp or pulling out a bunch of hair. I used it once while blow drying and the bristles melted a little. I still bought another one because I love it that much. I just use a different brush when drying my hair now. Those anti-static bristles are apparently made to tackle tangles like a professional. So, excited by the idea, I couldn't wait to try it! I used the FHI Heat UNbrush on different kinds of hair: curly, half-wavy, and straight. It was very easy to use this brush on straight hair. It almost didn't need to be tugged through hair that was soaking wet, and it went through dry hair a little harder than I liked but overall still pretty good. A little over 5% of the hair broke, which means something if you're trying to maintain or grow out your hair. Now, let’s talk about those anti-static bristles—they’re not just hype. Although curly hair can be a little more difficult to control, the UNbrush worked pretty good. The bristles are easily more loose after fixing the natural pattern. It even worked through knots without the typical pain or struggle, even with curls, which are usually the hardest test for any brush. Another plus was the anti-static feature, which controlled frizz and gave the curls a more "defined" appearance. This brush is strong in terms of lifespan. The handle felt just as sturdy as it did when I first got it, and the bristles were still fine after I used it every day for a little time. Seems flimsy, but actually works wonderfully. Gets tangled out easily, and you can get the hair out of the bristles without anything staying in the brush. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it actually delivers on what it says it can do. My mom is a hairdresser so I have tried MANY different brushes. I have to say that this is definitely my new favorite. Worth a try ladies.
