Had a set of customized closet doors come lose at the bottom due to years of use. The material of the door facing so strong that a pocket knife would not cut it well and sanding would have taken too long. The plane did it in less that 2 minutes. Doors just need a bit of sanding and and Gorilla gluing for another 36 years of servicing. Sustainable living

Neat little planer. Came needing a final honing but once it was sharpened up it worked great. Nice for tight spots.

Why I shopped price for a hand tool was just dumb.The parts are not machined well enough so that the parts fit together well enough to use/plane anything except maybe some firewood that needs to be burnt, anyway.Waste of raw materials, waste of manufacturing, waste of shipping, waste of time waiting to receive it, so, not going to waste time returning it. I will keep it, as a paper weight, in my shop, to remind myself of my very dumb decision.ALWAYS buy hand tools that are as expensive as one can afford, otherwise, you WILL REGRET IT!

I have literally never used anything like this before, but I was able to use this easily. I had a door that was stuck, and it appeared to be along the top edge that it was getting stuck. I had tried sanding and was getting nowhere. So I bought this and after a few swipes across the top of the door, no more sticking!

Ok, it works, but...1. It is hard to hold with your hand (or hands)2. The blade is not sharp enough and has small nicks after I used it to trim the top of a wood door. Will buy a better one next time.

This is as cheap as it get's for a small planer and it shows. It's hard to adjust and I have to adjust the blade completely to one side in order to get the blade edge to not be at an angle to the plane surface. If I had to buy again I'd spend more and get something better.

So far i do not like this. Is dificult to use. Dificult to set up.

Works well for light detail work, not designed for major projects.
