I like what I see so far
I wanted to wait a couple days to leave my review so I can do an honest review of both good and bad. So far the only "bad" is the mess it leaves if you aren't careful. I've used a different brand before but I stopped because it felt like it took soooo long to get it off of anything it comes in contact with, teeth included. This product is really nice. I use it with my charcoal tooth brush because they're soft and all you have to do is literally tap the toothbrush into the charcoal. I brush every part of my mouth and then leave it alone for like 2 minutes.... When it's time to rinse (it always looks pretty cool in the water) most of it rinses right out. There's no terrible taste no staining, and it's really nice and smooth. After I use my regular toothpaste it's like I never used it and my teeth look a little better by each use. I thought it was just because you go from black teeth to white that they look whiter but after the 3rd day of use I noticed one stain on one of my teeth got lighter. Gonna keep using this and hope I can get my teeth completely white again.

this works where nothing else has
I have to say I was skeptical about this product. I have my teeth professionally cleaned by a dental hygienist every 6 months and use whitening toothpaste BUT I also drink a lot of tea and like red wine. I'm a mature adult so that's a lot of years of tea stains ans nothing I have tried worked. I'd pretty much given up and resigned myself to the fact that not having naturally pearly white teeth is just another part of aging. I was wrong. After the first brush with this product my teeth were dramatically several shades lighter and brighter. It's quite amazing really. So amazing I took a photo to record the change. Also, I don't find this "messy" as some people have noted. (Maybe I just brush "tidy"). And another thing, the taste is fine, and my teeth and mouth feel super fresh and clean for a long time after using this. I do brush with regular toothpaste after using this just because it is black, but I don't know that is necessary.

One Thing Stands Out. . .
and that is that this is definitely 'charcoal'. It's grittiness, color, taste(lessness), and lack of any ingredient list throughout the sparse packaging lead me to believe that some smart business-minded person, after reading about how all signs point to black coal making for white teeth, got the idea to crush up a bunch of charcoal--perhaps even briquets--and put them in a fancy round container with some attractive marketing paragraphs, and voila, tooth whitener!Add to that a premium price that lets the average consumer know that it MUST do miracles and you've got the makings of a big seller--hopefully.Personally, I only used it one time, and did my best with it, though I'm no pearly whiter for the experience, so I can only assume that it does what it says. The whole thing isn't heavy enough to be a paperweight, but I must say that using it was a valuable aid in concluding that teeth whitening is not priority one for me. Instead, I carry the world news around on my smartphone's home page and that keeps me from smiling.Bottom line--maybe I've been conditioned by years of squeezing, but the convenience factor is definitely low with this product, and, combined with the above qualities, makes me a believer in not buying "Activated Charcoal Teeth Whitening Powder" again (too bad this maker wasn't around in the 1950's; this would sell a million on the name alone!). I can't imagine a situation which would absolutely require obtaining only this brand of this product, so there you go.But, if 10,000 people buy this one once, it won't matter anyway, right? Besides, if all else fails, millions of backyard barbeques are just waiting for a faster way to light that grill. And that idea's free of charge!

Charcoal powder= Good / Included toothbrush= Bad
The toothbrush bristles are far too stiff and will damage your gums. We used the combination and were ending up with really irritated gums. So I experimented using a regular toothbrush days later, and our gums were fine. If you’re using this, it’s because you want your teeth whiter and undoubtedly, you’re going to inherently think that the tooth brush included is the right one to use and probably over do it trying to get your teeth white.Use an old tooth brush, heck, even your regular one to use the charcoal powder with. It hasn’t stained my regular tooth brush since making the change. The powder itself isn’t as messy as you think. Just use it VERY SPARINGLY! It’s makes your teeth feel much cleaner. We’ve only been using it for a week but it seems like it’s making a visual difference. For the price, it’s worth trying but honestly avoid using the included bamboo toothbrush.

Causes teeth sensitivity
I bought this thinking it was a good alternative to other products that are known to cause teeth sensitivity but this product DEFINITELY causes teeth sensitivity. I’ve never in my life ever ever ever had problems with teeth sensitivity in my life and since I’ve used this product I’ve had a major change in the way my teeth feel with not enough of a payoff. My teeth are barely any whiter. The first time I used it my teeth ached off and all day so I only used it one other time before stopping but it still has had a major effect on my teeth. I made the mistake of thinking that because it was a natural product it wouldn’t be harmful for my teeth but that has not proven to be the case. Perhaps it’s not as harmful as other products but it’s still harmful and I regret ever purchasing it.
