Been using SAM-E 1200 mg for 2 years. It works!

It's ok. Doesn't smell.

I'm on my second bottle. They don't last long since you have to take three per day. I'm going to keep trying.

Be sure to use a buffered formula like this one because it will cause upset tummy otherwise

I am unable to return/exchange but the bottle was broken when it got here.. what can be done?

This is the good stuff... ignore the 1,200 mg per serving statement, it's actually 600 mg per serving..... of the "active form" of SAMe, that is.... and you can discern as much by looking closely at the Supplement Facts panel, where it shows the break down, to the 600 mg's of the "usable form"... which is 600 mg "per serving", and a serving is 3 coated tablets, which in turn of course means, 200 mg of the active form of SAMe, per coated tablet. My dog for example, requires 400 mg of active SAMe per day, so I'll give her 2 coated tablets a day, for the 400 mg's total. And the word "coated", should not be underestimated here... this is a vital characteristic that ensures the active material survives any onslaught of stomach acid, and releases in the upper or lower intestines, whichever the case may be. This is the reason they also say to take this on an "empty stomach", so as to decrease the potential for stomach acid destroying the active components. With the protective enteric coating, and taking it on an empty stomach, will ensure the material can get to where it can do it's job.... which is nothing short of liver support, mood support, and joint support, as I understand it. A truly amazing supplement if I ever saw one. And in the case of my dog, lab measurable and lab verifiable, effects, which really says something. Also, while the label doesn't state to keep refrigerated, it's probably best to do so, since SAMe by it's nature, is a fairly unstable substance, and refrigeration can only help in stabilization, and it won't hurt, from what I understand. So, yes, this SAMe has it all, it's even in a GLASS bottle, which is not only very classy, but has medicinal repercussions as well, with many experts preferring glass containers over the alternatives, from what I've read. So besides the little label "trick" of stating 1,200 mg's, when the important mg level of "active" SAMe, is 600 mg, this formula is an all around winner. And at least the 600 mg's amount is made somewhat clear in the supplement details, unlike some other brands out there which don't bother to make it clear.... which may be the reason for the "1,200 mg" on the front label here, just because so many others are doing that same "trick", the maker may be simply trying to "compete", with the higher claimed amounts out there. But again, the 600 mg's per serving is what's important, and be leery of any brand claiming higher than 400 or so mg's per serving, that doesn't show the break down of the "active" form.... it's a supplement that is tricky for the average person to grasp with a quick, or even not so quick, look at the various labels out there. Anyhow, this is the real deal here, 200 mg's per coated tablet... and it's made in the USA, which is another must.... it just doesn't get any better than that, in my opinion. oh, one more important thing... SAMe requires vitamin B6 and one other B vitamin I don't recall off hand, in order to "synthesize" properly, into the body... so be sure to take a good multi vitamin with adequate levels of the B vitamins, or take a good "B Complex" vitamin, at some point during the day, which usually means taking it "with food"... so you'll have to wait at least 2 hours after eating, and preferably 4 hours after eating, before you can take the SAMe, on an empty stomach. Conversely, by the way, take SAMe on an empty stomach, means at least "an hour", before eating. So 4 hours after eating or at least one hour before eating. Ok, I think you've tapped my full knowledge on the subject... I've got nothing left. And keep in mind that I'm no expert, just the same.

I have been taking sam-e for a few months now, for joint health specifically, so it's hard to say how well it's working or what it's doing. I have not experienced any adverse effects from switching to this brand so far. Looks fine, no funny smells or flavors, and the enteric coating seems intact.

Bla Bla Bla Magnesium Stearate, not concerned about your customers health, it's about profits!! It's toxic!!
