I always use liqui moly for my german vehicles. I like the usefulness of the container, and the smell of the oil. I feel secure knowing it is within the spec for my high performance BMW S1000RR. I have stable temps, and consistent pulls.

I started using Liqui Moly 4t 5w-40 in my R1200GSA (water cooled) two years ago, after switching from Castrol Power 1 4t. Did some research which revealed that the Castrol isn't a 'true' synthetic, but the Liqui Moly is. Shifting with the Liqui Moly is smooth and stays smooth for a long duration, and the 4 liter jug is cheaper than four liters of Castrol (and MUCH less expensive than the BMW-branded Shell oil). Two-day Prime delivery makes ordering easy.

I’ve used mobile 1 full synthetic motorcycle oil an have for 40,000 miles. Bike runs great. Thought I would try the Liquid Moly due to great reviews. Bike is running great!!

Tried this on my last oil change. Seems equivalent to Motul. Inside my engine is spotless. Probably because I always run excellent oil at good intervals. So, I have used Motul 7100 for most of my oil changes approx 3k intervals. Possibly too soon. Point is, I used this recently which seems to be possibly smelling a bit more like used motor oil at 3k. I have a 1200 bandit that is excellently maintained and riden in the 40 - 75 % rpm and throttle range most of the time. Sometimes I pin it and run it to redline in 2nd and 3rd. . There is no real way to determine what this does vs 10w40 full syn motul with out oil analysis or maybe running it out to 5k OCI. So, who knows. now this is not available on amazon, I will just go back to Motul. Bottom line, this is supposedly excellent based on its composition. Probably better for the cold enviros since it is a 5wX.
