Seems to work
I can’t say whether or not these are accurate. I tested them in a friends pool since we were not at home. Their pool is not chlorine so I knew that would not show correct. The issue was the ph showed low and her strip showed ok. The alkalinity showed low and hers showed ok. The problem is I don’t know if her test strips were off or these. I guess the only way to know it to do the vial test and I don’t have any of those. I put the strip in the water for 2 sec as directed and waited for 15 seconds. The colors did change but again I don’t know if mine were accurate or hers. I would say the best this is to have your water tested at a pool store and check against their results. I have not done that yet so I can’t say. I will update this if I decide to that in the future.

Great value pool tester
We have an above ground pool and we usually test the pool water twice a week during the summer. These strips were very accurate. We even compared the results with our other test strips from another brand to make sure that these were accurate. The results were the same. The instructions are simple and very easy to read. I would be careful when getting them out because some of them were sticking together and they are hard to take them apart without touching the testing part of the strip. We encountered a couple of them like this but not all of them. That's why I am giving it a 4 star rating instead of 5.

Turns off all the time
We ordered this and gave it a try. The instructions are not great so you have to figure out a lot on your own. Such as don't forget to take the bottom cap off or the temp reading will be off.. We put it in the hot tub and it would shut off after a few minutes. You have to be within 10' of the hot tub for your phone to pick up the reading. Its not something that you can hook to your wifi and get a reading while you are at the spa supply store. It is not something that you can use to notify you that the temp is consistently declining so you know your hot tub turned off. It is not what we wanted so we returned it.

Quick and accurate reading for home swimming pool
The pool tester can provide accurate and instant readings of the essential chemical parameters for home swimming pools with a direct digital display, saving the difficult and time-consuming reading by comparing to the standard color template. I've compared the reading with the reading from a professional tester brought by our pool maintenance techs and readings are about the same with less than 5% difference, which is sufficient for home users. A handy tester for home users.

Great batch of testing strips!
I learned the hard way you can never test your hot tub too much! After my second pump rebuild, I started testing daily and am quite the PH nazi now and go through a lot of strips. These Kactoily test strips provide all the chemical levels you would want to know. The strips I had been using only had four parameters. I had been having problems with water softness and excess foaming. With these strips, I will now have insight as to water hardness if that happens again. I was very impressed with the packaging There was a safety seal on top of the bottle, but the 50 strips were vacuum sealed in a foil packet as well. They worked like a charm and I get to play water chemist with all the chemicals I have on hand. The price is reasonable and I love not having to run to the pool supply just for strips. Highly recommend.

Spa Test Strips
The manufacturer (?), changed this listing to a completely different item. I did not get a floating device. I got the ordinary test strips you use to check the water in your spa. It tests for several more chemicals than the ones I usually test, that are on the standard strips on the market. I’m not sure if I even understand what those other chemicals are, and have no products to correct them. So I think this is good for a little overkill for what I need. I don’t know why they manufacturer used the same item number for a completely different product. One is very expensive (floater), the other (strips) is a very low price.

They Work
I used these test strips for my salt water pool, even though they don’t say they are for salt water. They gave me as good a reading as my Clorox salt water pool strips did. The listing doesn’t have the price at the moment so I can’t tell if they were a better a better deal. Overall happy with them.

PH wayyyy off!
I checked this against 3 PH monitors and a liquid reagent based chlorine/ ph detector as well as 2 other brand names of test stripes. To top that off I used known PH solutions to compare. As usual with my test stripe experience, ph and maybe alkalinity (don’t have a different device or method to check that) don’t match. As usual with test stripes, PH always seems to be way off from the actual values on get on my digital testers and reagent kit. Even dipping in ph solution shows it grossly mismatched (you can see dipping it in 6.86 PH solution gets the strip to read wayyy higher than the “6.8” yellow line on the bottle). Sadly this doesn’t instill confidence in this product. The chlorine is accurate and hardness seems right for my area, however.
