SheafferSkrip Ink Cartridges, Black, 6 Shelf Pack (96233)

Bought these cartridges to fit a 90's Shaeffer fountain pen. ("Universal" cartridges would not fit.) The pen is writing smoothly with no skipping or splotches.

Actually this cartridge was for a Schaffer pen that was my mother’s it’s more than 30 years old I cleaned the tip the cartridge fit perfect and the pen works. It brought back memories of my mom using that pen.

The right item arrived quickly and at a decent price

Good ink flow, looks good on paper (using it with a fountain pen).

The ink cartridges worked like I remembered. The Schaffer fountain pen I had, I had not used it in 20 years and while was throwing out stuff I found it and decided to get new cartridges. And they worked really in my pen.

I like everything about the Scheaffer Scrip ink cartridge. I prefer the image of an ink pen vs. a ballpoint pen. The cartridge is easily replaced. I recommend the Scheaffer Scrip ink cartridge. This definitely is much better, less messy and easier to do than the years-ago method of an ink bottle and manually refilling your pen.

These are great refill cartridges and a great value for the price. If you go to a retail store, you would pay 10 times the price. They generally won't even leak after they have been punctured and you hold them upside down. They also dry quickly on paper and don't smear. Only problem is when you do get the ink on you, you better be prepared to wear it a few days because it doesn't wash off too easily either. I have used them for years and I have not found a better refill. They are convenient for travel also. It is not very convenient to carry around a bottle of black india ink but this works just fine (esp when calligraphy is just a hobby)
