This is a really lovely set! Even a complete movie like me was able to get great coverage and it was easy to work with! I combined this with a set of tips from the same brand and a gel top coat also from the same brand. I wasn't familiar with them until last year and now I'm a happy baby customer! The red glittery color in particular is my favorite! This comes from someone who normally likes obnoxiously bright neon. So far, I'm two days in from application and everything looks great. No chipping or cracking or anything. Definitely worth the buy!

This was an excellent choice for my first experience with dip powder. It was so easy! The colors were super vivid and bright. My first self manicure took about 15-20 minutes and lasted for 2 weeks! The kit comes with everything you need and some extras, such as a cuticle pusher, file, and 2 extra nail polish brushes. This is a great quality product and I will definitely buy again

Product is for the most part easy to use. The powder makes things a little slippery after a while but not a big deal. My only issues are colors aren't quite what they show and the top coat it keeps hardening so fast on my brush and I cant figure out how to stop that from happening. I talked to support they said keep it away from sunlight and uv light which it wasnt by either. I will definitely be ordering more colors.

I have to agree with other reviews that say colors are not a perfect match. But this was just a starter kit for me to see how I like the dip. I have used all modelone products since I started doing my own nails. From gel polish to poly gel. For this set I did not add tips as I wanted to just see the general wear of the product (without wasting tips). I also followed some other reviews and used my gel top coat instead of the top coat provided in the kit. Product came exactly as described with all the necessary materials. The activator absorbs quickly into the nail but I wouldn’t say it comes half empty, just dries quickly once applied to nail. Followed directions in the booklet exactly except for the optional “bond” product as I’ve found with modelone products that the extra nail prep they provide decreases the length of time/ wear of the nails. This made it super easy to complete both hands (even the non-dominant). I will say there was slight variation in the color of each nail but I would guess that’s user error and will improve with practice. Overall 5/5 stars very happy with the application. Will see how it does!

I've bought three of these nail kits and each one has had a defective/solidified gel top coat. I love the colors and ease of use, but the powder base/activation coat doesn't last more than a few days without the gel coat. I tried other brands of gel coats with the powder base/activation coat but the gel coat never sets. Which means the whole kit is useless without the gel coat on top. To make matters worse my nails are brittle and removing the bottom coats after just applying them, even after soaking them in 100% acetone, causes the top layer of my nails to flake off. The last kit I received was today 3/11/2025 and the top coat was completely solidified again! I'm returning it for a replacement and will update when I receive it. Update 3/14/2025: I received the replacement kit and the gel top coat is completely normal and fluid. I really like these kits but only having 1/4 kits with a normal fluid gel top coat feels like taking a gamble to purchase and I'm not a gambler. So while I won't purchase these kits in the future, I am happy I can at least use the kits I already have a couple of times.

Nice colors and easy to use

This is the first time I ever did dip nails for myself with tips. It turned out really good and it is so easy to use.. after I did mine I did my Aunts nails and she loved them. I highly recommend this kit, it's easy to use and directions make it where you can understand how to use the product

Great price, great product—perfect for a DIY beginner like me! I love having my nails done, but salon visits have just gotten too expensive. I was frustrated with regular nail polish peeling off within a day, and even the confusing gel kits barely lasted 2–3 days. This dip powder kit was a total game changer. The first time took me about an hour, but the results lasted 10 days—which is a HUGE win in my book. I liked it so much I’ve already done my nails twice and knew I had to leave a review. I’m constantly digging in the garden, washing my hands, and swimming in a chlorine pool, and they’re still holding up great. Just make sure to follow the directions exactly and go slow—if you do, you’ll get salon-quality results for about the cost of a tip! Yes, the bottles are on the small side—I’ll probably need to replace the liquids after two sets, but there’s still plenty of powder left. Definitely worth it, and I’ll 100% be buying again!

So quick and easy looks just like professional nails. Only criticism is colors I received didn’t match description I received nude / neutral colors and no glitter colors

Unfortunately, despite previous great reviews, this product let me down. It chipped on off my nail within a couple of days. It also wasn't appropriate for my toes as the containers were too small to "dip" into. Sadly disappointed with my purchase.
