Took longer than expected to germinate and grow. However everything planted grew. Cannot wait to try.

This is a scam! The soil provided is rotten, I was so excited when my plants started to sprout. However the soil molded and killed all my sprouts. No, I didn’t over-water. Read the rest of the reviews, it happened to all of us who used the soil.

So it's been a while since I did a product review on here, but I thought it was worth the time to make one for this garden kit. Instruction booklet could walk an absolute newbie through the steps to cultivate their herbs and even teaches you a little about each one. I'm curious to see how the kelp mix aids in the process, as I've never used it before. The pots are pretty bland in style and color, bit that takes nothing away from the look since they all have a good construction and have a present ambiance to them. I just got done planting and will provide updated photos at a later time. TLDR: Absolutely worth the price and I'd recommend for anyone from a complete beginner or a seasoned veteran. Disregard the fact that only half of them have the provided sticker labels. I thought they weren't included but were, in fact still in the box. That's on me.

I bought this as a housewarming gift for my daughter and she loved it

Some of the herbs sprouted, and some didn’t. The ones that lived didn’t live very long. I never actually got to taste any of them because they didn’t live to harvest time. The soil substitute was weird. The pots were cute, though.

To start, saying there will be enough dirt left over to bag and save for later....there isn't enough dirt to fill all 8 containers to 3/4 full. I am over 5 weeks without any green plants breaking thru the surface. I have spent the last week trying to sprout 7 seeds of each in a wet cloth of which basil, cilantro,and chives each have 1 of 7 sprout a root. This product lacks the dirt and not sure the quality of seeds. These were planted as directed, covered with plastic rap during sunlight hours and removed every evening to breath. I guess buying the more expensive brand doesn't equate to quality herbs, disappointing.UPDATE:Going into 6th week, after unloading all remaining seeds, I have green coming thru soil In 6 of 8 pots.I was offered a refund, didnt reply, still unhappy there wasn't enough dirt to get to within one inch of top, I would suggest to add another "pod" in future orders. Used all the seeds so still unknown if its worth the buck.
