Definitely THE sweetest Plum variety I have ever know, with a fine, juicy and nectar-rich inner flesh and pure golden yellow skin colouir [shown in the photo as a summer display together with redcurrants and blueberries] An eating sensation, the flowers are self fertile so you don't have to have other trees nearby to ensure a crop. Likes a sunny spot, the fruits ripen in late August and you can also train it against a wall if desired, or grow it as a free standing tree in the garden border, or a good sized pot is fine. This tree is offered on the small 'Pixy' stock which ensures the tree will stay compact and is suitable for small gardens, a 24" container etc. The trees can easily be pruned to 6' or less with a similar spread.
