This Creader elite is a very sturdy and high-end quality tool. It has active testing and special functions with maintenance reset, it does pretty much what expensive scanners can do on top of all this, it’s bidirectional .I found it user friendly for both professional and DIY useIt’s super fast and I love the free life time updates .Price point A+Very satisfied

As a tow truck driver I keep it with me always in the truck as it doesn’t take up a lot of space , comes with a nice carrying case. I’ve had random CELs come up on my truck and I just grab it out the glove box or if one our trucks has a code I’ve used it to clear and read them for the owner. Had a few customers with broken down cars towed them to shops and informed them of the codes just so they can have a general basis on what it may actually be or could be. Comes in handy quite often and I never leave for work without it with me . Plug it in and you’re ready to go. Has constant updates and works on majority of makes and models . Charges itself off the OBD2 port or otherwise uses USB C

Careful....the description says it works with Jeep products and that may be true for vehicles that are older then 2018. FCA authorization is not required for basic scans, but it is required for clearing DTC codes and advanced functionality like system tests and actuations or adding key fobs. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) implemented a secure gateway module that was introduced on 2018 and newer model vehicles. Access to certain diagnostic functions requires registration and authentication through an approved service (AUTOAUTH) for all aftermarket scan tools. You can buy access for $50 supports unlocking of the FCA gateway to enable enhanced diagnostics on 2018 and newer FCA vehicles (Jeep, Fiat, Chrysler, Dodge).
