Good brace for healing safely -- with a bit of a learning curve (see tips below)
So far this has worked really well for me. It's hard to say if it's actually improving my condition or just preventing me from further injuring it further while it heals, particularly when I'm sleeping. I've only had it a few days so I can't speak to its durability.A couple of things that I figured out for best positioning it (for me at least):* The angle set screw is positioned so it's towards your right, for both your left or right arm. It seems to have a forearm cuff and an upper arm cuff. (See the product pic where it shows the model's left arm.)* Never let the velcro strap ends dangle freely, but just reposition them so that the brace is loose. This makes it easier to adjust with one hand and tighten later, rather than fighting to get them detangled from each other first.* It's difficult to get it positioned over your elbow and remain there for bent arm angles. Fully loosen the brace and position it where you want (with your elbow in the "hole"). Then fully tighten down the upper arm straps. Fully bend your arm so that it matches the set angle (up against the brace) and then tighten the forearm straps completely. These have worked for me, but if anybody has better tips, I'd love to see them. Overall the brace has been working pretty well, but the first few times positioning it can be a challenge -- especially if you're in pain.

Comfortable and good stabilization of elbow
I had a serious radial head and stem fracture with dislocation in January, requiring surgery, and following PT I used a rented adjustable medical brace to help straighten my elbow. It was massive, uncomfortable, and could only do so much so after returning it I bought this brace. While it's not as sturdy as the prescription brace, it was MUCH more comfortable to use and did a good job of helping me extend my arm, especially at night, on the 180 degree setting. That being said, 180 didn't truly straighten my elbow 180 degrees, as the material's flexibility provides the brace with a little give. At maximum extension it looks just like the seller photo. It's good though--it does exactly what it's supposed to do and does it very comfortably. It also fits snugly enough that you could wear it under a loose sleeve. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could.

Good for ulnar nerve and golfers elbow - can use without locking in one position
I have tried a huge variety of braces, and this is one of my two favorites. It’s sturdy and easy to put on and take off by myself. Something I discovered, is that you can leave the pin out of the hinge and use it without locking it into a single position. This worked really well for me. It greatly restricts range of motion and gives good structured support, but still allows a little bit of movement to make general day-to-day tasks and sleeping more comfortable.I was able to easily sleep with this brace, both with the pin in the hinge and with the pin out. I preferred using the brace with the pin out to have a little bit of movement. In my opinion, this brace is worth the extra cost.

Does what it says, but caused my hand to swell
This brace for Cubital Tunnel Syndrome does exactly what it says it will do: prevent your arm from bending during the night. My only problem was my hand would be swollen by the time I woke up in the morning. If I tried to put the brace on looser, it would slide around. May work for some, but wasn't the best approach for me.

Works great
I had tennis elbow and this helped a lot. The different settings you can put it at to keep your arm in certain positions

Stitching comes apart after a few uses!
Would be great if not for lousy stitching. I'm now returning the second one of these. Can barely get a week out of it before the stitching comes apart where the metal brace is.

A pretty good brace
I like this brace because it keeps my elbow & arm straight when I'm sleeping. To note there is a definite top and bottom, I think it should be marked on the top cuff. It would have made things a lot easier the first night. I didn't like that I couldn't really tell the difference. When I first put it on, it ended up being uncomfortable. After I woke up, I realized something wasn't right. I realized that I had put it on upside down, the plastic buckle kept biting into my upper arm. I took it off, looked at it, Just by looking it looks the same. But, then I measured the top cuff versus the bottom cuff. I found that the smaller cuff needs to go on the upper arm and the larger cuff goes on the forearm. Once I got that right everything was fine. This is a nice brace because you can make it totally straight with the hinged/locking metal bracket or you can also adjust it at various degrees. I find if you bend it slightly, it doesn't slide down your arm at all which seems to be a problem with a lot of these braces including another one I had purchased. Anyway I thought it was a pretty decent brace & I'm glad I purchased it. I would have given it five stars but because of the debacle of which end was up, it only gets four. Still, it's a great product. But could be a great product if they would make the improvement as suggested.
