Moles were driving me crazy. Tracks were all through the yard. I tried scissor traps, which killed a few. I tried poisons, which appeared to be ineffective. But these work! A major difference in a single week. Over the next couple of months, I saw a single track a couple of times. Then nothing. Some manufacturers claim that they use ultrasonics - - - I don't know about that. They do make a distinct buzzing sound for about 1 or 2 seconds every minute or so, though not very loud. If bothered by infrequent, soft buzzes, these may not be for you. But when my brother visited for a few days, he kept noticing something, but couldn't place what it was. (I could have told him it was all in his head).I have tried several brands of these repellents and can't tell if one is better than any other. But I'm not killing them, and they are rather cheap for what they achieve. I'm just annoying them out of my yard. Sorry neighbor.

Thought it would be sonic, like pulsing that humans can’t hear. Nope, it actually beeps loudly like every 30 seconds. Bought them to put in my back yard but there is no way I could enjoy being out there with six of these beeping every thirty seconds!

I know the sound is why it is effective but I expected a lower frequency/volume. I placed 3 in my front garden area and I will try removing 2, as the irritating sound prevents me from enjoying my front yard. Maybe there is some gopher in my linage. They are definitely effective for repelling humans. In all fairness, they are not difficult to turn off but they are annoying even going to and from the car.

The sound portion works but unfortunately still having rodent issues.

I haven't had 1 mole since I got these. These are a must have if you have a mole issue.

These do NOT work. Installed in an area that had a mole issue and the moles continued to tunnel right next to these mole “repellent” devices. Do not recommend purchasing for preventing moles.
