Great game for preschoolers!
My 4-year-old son loves this game. He has no trouble moving his piece forward for the "plus" cards and backward for the "minus" cards. He likes to play it multiple times in a row, and it is even a game that he can play by himself if no one is available to play it with him at that moment. He is a kid who loves numbers and loves counting, so this game seems like a perfect fit for him.If your child is able to count to "10" independently and count 10 objects (counting the spaces on the board), then I think they are ready for this game.My 3-year-old son does well with the game too (following the directions and able to count to 10+), but he gets bored before the game ends. If we talk about the nature things on the board that his piece is moving past he stays more engaged, but he does not love this game the way his brother does.

Nice Educational Game
This is an awesome game, which reenforces basic counting skills. I use it in a Kindergarten classroom and the kids love it! They beg me to let them play it often.

Fun game and nice quality
This is a bit expensive when compared to other well know children’s games, however I think it is worth having another choice in the game cubby. I like that this game includes cards that actually force you to count backwards, as apposed to sliding back. Cards are as sturdy as any other deck of cards I have, so quality is nice. And you cannot predict a winner..... we love it!!

Great game for K-1 st grade
My son LOVES math! He is in 1st grade and we love to challenge him with his math! Though this game is a little TOO easy for him, that doesn’t stop us from all sitting down to play it with him! I think once he outgrows this game, I may drop it off to his kindergarten or 1st grade teacher to use in the classroom!

Fun and terrific educational math skills game for kids
I bought this game for my 4 year old niece who is bright but having trouble understanding addition and subtraction. She loves the game and begs everyone to play with her. The process of moving her piece forward when she gets a addition card, and moving it backwards when she gets a subtraction card has really helped her understand adding and subtracting! The board is sturdy and beautifully illustrated. Her favorite part is when she is first to reach the raised Tent in the middle of the board!

Misleading
EDIT: Since my original review, they've corrected the item photos so it no longer shows the tent and "camper" game pieces. We still have the game, and I must admit that the kids love it. They really love it. I still feel like it's expensive for what you get. Even the quality of the cards seems cheap. I keep them in a plastic card box for storage in hopes it will help them last longer. But the kids in our family (age 3 -7) do really enjoy this game.Original Review:Our game came missing the tent to "count home" to, and has generic game pawns instead of the "happy camper" pawns shown. It would be playable, but not nearly as fun for young kids without those details, and not worth the money we paid for it. Hoping to get a corrected replacement. Will update with the results.
