Easy to use.
I had the Mach 1 Apex Charger professionally installed last August. The charger has been superior. It is easy to use, seems to be extremely efficient, and when permanently installed, requires little space. I highly recommend it.

Great charger and superb telephone support!
I really like this charger! It is a nice, well thought out, EV charger at a reasonable price. I had a minor problem while installing the product so I called the manufacturer. It was a Sunday evening so I figured I would have to wait till Monday to call but was surprised that they answered the phone on Sunday. Anyway, they were very helpful and they decided to rush a replacement unit to me along with a prepaid shipping label for the return of the original unit. I installed using the plug-in option so I can charge at about 9.6kw... so fast compared to my previous charger. I'm happy with both the Apex Charger and the company's outstanding 7 day a week support!

Perfection, after the October ‘24 update
TL;DR They fixed the scheduling bug! Works perfectly after October 2024.Long version:I bought this charger a couple months back, and after an update it works perfectly on my Tesla Model Y 2021. It has always been great for the Lexus RZ, but initially I experienced the same bug with my Tesla charging schedule as others reported. I would have to delete the schedule on the car, plug in, begin charging, then set the schedule and it would hold off till cheap electric rates in the evening. Tesla pushed an update or two in October that broke this process. Not sure if it was intentional or just a bug Tesla introduced. I worked with Apex tech support when I first got the charger and they said they had an update they planned to push in October so I kept the charger and waited because I really needed the 30ft charge cable and I didn’t want to use an extension at 48A for safety. They finally notified me over a week ago that it was ready for my charger and I pushed the update via the app. Since then it has worked flawlessly for both cars. No resetting schedules, no waiting to plug in. Just park at home, plug in, and it starts the charge cycle after I’m asleep via the Tesla’s schedule. The support group appears to be spread around the globe so regardless of when I sent an email, they called me to discuss my question in less than an hour, typically within about 15mins. Always patient, always helpful. Talk bout a great service experience!I like the overall design and forethought in the charger as well. I hardwired the charger with a dedicated 50A breaker and 6/3 size wires from the panel using 3 insulated Polaris 600V Tap connectors in the Jbox. Be sure to use those included slip-on aluminum tubes when you use a connector like that so you don’t break off a bunch of the strands. If anyone tells you to upsize your breaker, you need to upsize your wire even further for safety so you can trip the breaker before you burn the wire. Disclaimer: I am not an electrician but I discussed my design with one for the installation. So far, more wire heat is generated at the charger than at those connectors so it’s all looking great!

Good fast L2 charger that doesn't break the bank
Purchased a new EV with a much bigger battery, and my old charger's cord was about 5 feet too short to reach the port now, and at 32a was not the fastest.Installed this one, plugged it in, never even connected it to wifi, works great. Unit came preset at 40A for a 50A 14-50 outlet. The cord from the charger is not quite 30', but it was just enough to reach for me. This unit also has no issues with my GFCI protected outlet, my old one I had to set to ungrounded mode for it to work. The included NACS adapter is a bonus just in case I have a guest that needs it.

At the same time, I mentioned my problem with using the Apex charger to charge my EV. The customer service patiently guided me in solving my problem. The charger is easy to install and thoughtfully designed for indoor and outdoor use. I highly recommend the product.

Works fine on a Kia EV9
charger works for a Kia EV9, use of APP work fine, delay will only work if in plug and play with delay set prior to plugging in, delay will not work if set to RFID card/ App swipe setting. Instructions recommend 60 amp breaker explaining that you only want to use 80% of breaker rating. at 48amps that is mor than 80% of 60. i have a 100 amp breaker and the charger holds 48amps all the way through the charge. if the charging is stopped manually it gives a false error code and need to reset breaker off then on again to clear. if connected and left to charge once vehicle is done charging and it stops the process charger continues to work perfectly fine. overall, not a bad charger for the price would prefer not to get a false code but not too much of a headache. instructions say to hard wire to achieve 48 amps but with a 100 amp breaker mine holds there with zero issues. hope this is usefull info for others to make an informed decision. would recommend to friends and family.

Excellent Product and Great Support
This charger feels solid, and the charging plug is nice and sturdy. I like that you can change the charging current and delay time directly on the unit, and monitor charge status on the display instead of always having to open an app. Customer support is simply fantastic for this product - they got back to me almost immediately and quickly resolved my questions; definitely 5 stars for the APEX team.
