I am an avid baker and love decorating cakes and cupcakes, so Russian piping tips have been on my radar for a while. This set contains 30 tips, which is a good starting point, and comes with the necessary couplers as well as a large collection of (mediocre) piping bags.I'm very impressed with the quality of the tips: they appear to be stainless steel, are the size expected (which is 3-4X the size of a standard tip!), and the cutout motifs are clean and detailed. It would have been awesome had the manufacturer or seller included a sheet showing what each tip could create, but I was able to look that up online and found decorating photos that corresponded to each of the tips. There is a learning curve with these, to be sure, but at least the practise sessions are both fun and delicious!It feels a little disingenuous to call this a 134-piece set. Whilst technically true, 100 of those pieces are frankly awful piping bags. The couplers are plastic, but that is standard these days, and they seem to be of decent quality.I do very much recommend this set, though I would strongly suggest ditching the included piping bags for bags of higher quality.

I haven’t used many of the tips yet as I’m still practicing my regular floral designs and will start with these but I bought this specific set ((there are many options) because it came with the piping bags. I considered this a perk. IT IS NOT!!! They are the cheapest bags I’ve ever seen or used. Every single one I’ve used has popped/ruptured!!! Frosting going every which way. And they don’t pop in just one place like a seam, just a random hole or at the placement of the piping tip, anywhere. Do NOT BUY this set to get the bags.

These Russian Piping tips do make pretty buttercream flowers, but with a few caveats. These tips are giant, so piping a lot of flowers onto one cupcake is challenging. There was no "key" showing what shape each tip made so there was a lot of trial and error to find the shape I wanted. The tips themselves work as expected, but the pastry bags that came with this kit are the absolute worst bags I have ever used. More than 5 bags broke in the middle of using them and it left me with a giant mess to clean up. If you use the tips without the couples (included the in the set) the pastry bags do not work and the tip will fall right out. I've been baking for years and never experienced pastry bags quite this bad. The tips are fine, but the bags could use some improvement.

Getting familiar with these tips is the next part. I’m making a cake for my mother’s 71st Birthday next week, and I will use these tips. It will be an odd cake because I plan to use as many of these on the cake. I’m not worried about the coloring part at first but more about getting the feeling of how they work.This is a great set that is durable and sturdy. They’re a lot bigger than I imagined, but I understand why they are.I will update this review with each tip as I use it.This Baking Supplies Kit is exactly as advertised, well-made, and works well. The PRICE is in the usual range.

It's a piping set, and seems fine for that. Many metal tips included as well as an ample stash of piping bags, and the plugs to get the bags to stick nicely with the plugs.It would have been better for beginning decorators if this had included some sort of tutorial, but there's plenty of that online, and this gives you some useful tools

I've been starting to step up my cupcake game and have been really interested in trying Russian piping tips. This 30 piece assortment is a great starting point! I really like that this includes the 3 way adaptor to make some of the more complicated frosting effects. The tips seem well crafted. The plastic couplers are always a weak point, but these seem fairly beefy. My only complaint is that the title seems to imply that you're getting a lot more for your money. 100 of the 134 pieces are disposable piping bags, which seems a little cheeky.
