I bought a futon cover to keep the MIINA futon clean. When I checked the review of this futon cover, I was a little worried until it arrived because there was a review that the size of the mattress and the futon cover did not match. However, the size of the MIINA futon and MIINA futon cover was made to fit exactly. I confirmed that it fits perfectly. I think the size mismatch is due to the combination of this futon cover with futon from other manufacturers. Also when tumbler dried, the 100% cotton fabric may shrink due to the hot air. Therefore, it needs to be naturally dried. I know MIINA's products are great. The fabric is 100% cotton and feels good against the skin, so you can sleep comfortably. You can also change the color of the sheets depending on your mood. I think that the specifications of the futon cover are indispensable for using the MIINA futon for a long time and cleanly.

I bought this mattress cover because the MIINA mattress I bought before was super comfortable and I wanted the matching cover. It fits perfectly, and the texture is super comfortable! I can see that it’s made in Japan quality, and I’m very happy that it is 100% cotton which is good for my skin. I love this brand so much. Thank you for making my sleep a great quality!!

As I always do, I washed the cover in cold water before putting it on my mattress, wrongly assuming that the Miina mattress cover would fit the Miina mattress. That isn't the case, and by reading other reviews I see that it wasn't just my mattress or the fact that I'd washed it and air dried it before use. I will return this, even though it has been washed once but never used, and hopefully this company will be responsive. I love the quality of the cover, and also purchased my tatami mat and mattress from Miina..they're top quality and extremely comfortable.

I bought it for my futon mattress, and I love that it’s 100% cotton. The fabric is soft and smooth to the touch, and it feels great against my skin. The sheet fits perfectly and stays in place, making my futon even more comfortable and cozy.

This is a very nice-feeling cover for your shikibuton from Miina. It's about $10 cheaper than competing brands from Japan and fits your Miina shikibuton perfectly (the twin size cover fits the MIINA Japanese Futon Volume Twin 39"×78" perfectly snug). Buying the same brand of cotton cover for me was important because I wanted to make sure it fit my shikibuton perfectly, and this was definitely the case for this cover. While it is 100% cotton and washes well (delicates, cold temperature, air-dry), I was disappointed by the color of the sheets I received and by the quality after a week of use. I ordered the ivory color but received a cotton cover that was 100% white. I didn't want white because it easily gets dirty and just didn't match the color palette of our home and guest room. After a week of use, I also noticed that some fabric got pulled despite us only sleeping on it. Perhaps a ring or piece of our tatami mat (unlikely) got caught on the fabric or perhaps 100% cotton fabrics are a bit more sensitive to getting pulled, but for the price point of this cover combined with the cost of the shikibuton, I would've liked to see this fabric be a little more durable. However, overall, I am happy with this purchase; I just recommend you be aware of potential color differences and be a little more gentle with the fabric.

Not much to say about this. It's a good cover and does what it's supposed to. I only hang dry in case of shrinkage and that works just fine. $50 for a cover is kind of expensive but they're all similarly priced. I recommend going with the one your futon is supposed to be paired with. You can bet they designed it in a specific way to be slightly off if combined with a different one. I should know because that's what I did to save $20.

I've had my TEIJIN Japanese shikibuton for 4 years and I love it. But it does not have a cover, and I have never washed it besides spot cleaning. I do lay a fitted sheet over it, but I've been looking forward to finding a good cover. I was excited when the cover arrived. It looks like good quality durable cotton and I like the side zipper. But it is definitely too short for my futon (https://www.amazon.ca/TEIJIN-Japanese-Traditional-shikibuton-Mattress/dp/B00QJZX2TG). My Twin futon is 83 inches long, and this cover is only 80. I tried to make it work, but it absolutely will not fit. There is no stretchiness to this cover. So I have to return and find something longer.

Good quality! The fabric is cool, comfortable and easy to clean. I've bought two so I can switch out between washings.
