Very good tool for the price
Works as advertised, the cable that I used it for was fine which was a brake cable for a bike and the crimpers for that it came with were handy. This is a very good tool for the price that I bought it for, and would recommend as the building quality is not that bad and cuts cable with ease and not much effort is needed to put in. It fits most cables that I work with so this tool was a worth while investment as well as not taking up much space in my tool box which is perfect. The durability seems to also be good for the amount of time that I have used it for. Seems like solid metal so it should not degrade in a very long time.

Very high quality cutter. Feels like a $60 tools, has the weight of a durable cutter, cutting brake cables, shifter cables, cable housing like butter. Perfect tool for your garage bike shop. I have 2 ebikes that need cable replacement every 3-4 years. This cutter will out live my ebike interest easily.

Good product in this price range.
These work great on both derailleur and brake cables. I dinged it a single star because of how it cuts the housing. I needed to use a small pick to open the inner liner, to insert the cables; but the metal coil was cut perfectly, so perhaps I should only subtract 1/2 of a star. These really are great, and so much cheaper than the big name version. They feel heavy duty, and for maintenance on our two bikes, these should last several years.

work exactly as intended.
These shears work extremely well. I was using a steel chisel and hammer to cut my 1/8" cable railing and that worked but it would take 3 hits to break the cable. These cutters are not even difficult to squeeze and make a smooth cut.
