Good Chromebook
We have had zero issues with the Chromebook. We use it for homeschooling. I guess if I had one complaint it would be maybe the speakers could be a bit louder.

Great Secondary/Backup Device
My 2015 MacBook Pro died and I needed a replacement. I have a work Windows laptop, and a MacMini desktop. I originally thought about getting another MacBook but then I thought about the purpose of the device. I needed a device that I would use occasionally when on the go to browse, read news, email and YouTube. I found a great price on this device on Black Friday so I took the bite. I like the size of the device. It's not the thinnest but it is thin enough and light enough to be portable. The screen is not the greatest. My middle-aged eyes were having problems viewing the fonts on the Google flights page. I turned up the screen brightness and that fixed the problem. The battery life is nowhere near the 12 hours advertised. My usage was able to get me 5-6 hours but then again, I did turn up the screen brightness as I mentioned. The build quality is great for a device at this price point. This device is not the right solution for everyone so evaluate your needs and decide accordingly.

Excellent Chromebook
This is an excellent Chromebook. I have no complaints about it at all, especially for the price. The display is sharp, bright and vibriant. The speakers are loud and have a clear sound. The key board is very nice to type with and the military grade plastic is awesome.

Painfully slow
Painfully slow, when only web browsing with a few tabs. I sorely regret this purchase. It's qlmost entirely unusable because of how slow it is which means its basically just e-waste

Didn’t make it 2 years
We used this device for YouTube, google docs, kids’ school and email. It did what we needed it to for a great price. It came with a junky charging cord that needed to be replaced right away, but that was still under warranty. I purchased it in July ‘22 and now March ‘24 it died. It was inconvenient to wait for a new charging cord and 2 different batteries as I tried to trouble shoot it. Nothing has worked to power it on, and I am not paying asus to fix it as their warranty was less than a year.
