Cover is fine but as mentioned in other reviews, the ties are pretty meager and difficult to use.Much better if you go buy some 3/4” double sided velcro to wrap around as many places as you like. Super easy to use and get the the correct tension regardless of the canopy size.I’d recommend the company eliminate the attached ties and just include separate velcro straps as well.

we bought this cover for our Aleko awning. the fabric itself seems to be ok, heavy enough, and the length and circumference also were OK. the issue is with the ties that you secure the cover with. they are so short that they don't come close to reaching around the entire awning and awning mechanism. they are also very flimsy and lightweight. I tried to add some twine to each of the ties that go behind the mechanism, which at least allowed me to grasp ahold of them.. however, when you try to pull tight to tie them securely, they tear right off. I ended up just tying the whole thing with twine. not the best look, but otherwise, one good winter storm and this thing is gone with the wind. Aleko: Make the ties longer, put at least two more sets on for the 12' cover and maybe add some elastic around the entire edge, that would go along way to making this more secure and easier to install.

Cover is nice easy to put up. Fits nice, seems good quality best if 2 people put it on. I did it myself just went up and down the ladder several times. The strings to tie the cover are my only complaint, very weak. I know if I pulled to hard they would tear. I just put 2 bungee cords around to make sure if they tear it would stay secure.

Read other reviews that recommended purchasing next size up which we did and it worked well. Ties are a bit flimsy and short so we will be replacing with Velcro next season. We also folded excess (not much) on end inward and simply put Velcro around to secure it tightly in place. For the price pretty good buy. Could improve greatly with Velcro straps instead of ties.

I purchased the Aleko awning, from Amazon, before the summer. When it came time to store items for the harsh Buffalo winter, I purchased this cover, thinking if it fit well, I would just leave the awning and not have to take it down and store it. Since it's made by the same manufacturer, it fit perfectly and completely covered the awning and the retraction motor. I won't know, for sure, how good the protection is, until the spring, but based on how well it fit and the design of the cover, I'm optimistic that it will be excellent.

Happy with the fabric cover although expected a thicker and heavier one similar to our awning. Hopefully will last through our Canadian winters. Ordered a size larger as suggested by others despite no mention by manufacturer. Only other issue is with the tie straps/strings which were disappointing and inadequate. Agree with other reviewers that Velcro straps would be much better solution

I had to return the item because it was too short. I picked up the next size. It was a few inches too large. It fits even with the extra material, but the issue is the Velco ties. They don't hold the unit secure. I would not trust them with a large gust of wind. I picked up some bungee ties, and it does the job.

Bought it for my 12 foot awning and was approximately 10 inches too short. My cost for returning it to the manufacturer was $27.00 CDN. Very disappointing.

I have 2 12ft x 10ft awnings, therefore, I chose this size. Nowhere was it mentioned that you'd have to buy the cover longer than the size of the awning! So, be aware of the issue. Other than that, these are made of very good material. They would easily last years, if you take care of them.
