Lightweight but comfortable
I searched for a down duvet to use under a quilt for months. Most duvets were either too expensive or used mostly feathers not down. This is a nice quality duvet insert considering similar ones in this price range are incredibly cheap looking. I live in the Mid-Atlantic where it's usually around 50 degrees in the springtime at night or as low as the single digits in the winter. On its own, the duvet is too lightweight if it's cooler than 55 outside but the fill itself isn't hot or heavy. The comforter is made in Canada and certified with responsibly filled down, which I feel is an added bonus since other brands are probably Chinese made with feathers of unknown origin. I purchased this for about $99 for a queen size and the value is excellent.

Just what I was looking for!
I've been looking to buy a good quality natural warm puffy but not overly expensive goose down comforter for over a year with no luck. I looked at most local, online and department stores but all comforters I could find were either flimsy and not thick enough or poorly made (loosing feathers and making crunchy sound because they had more feathers inside than down). This comforter is perfect in every possible way!Pros:- It is great size for a large King bed - it hangs down on the sides nicely making it look very neat, luxurious and cozy.- It is thick, fluffy and feels heavy enough for its size - all baffle boxes seem to be filled evenly- I can't feel any rougher feathers inside it - it seems to be all nice and soft down - so it doesn't make noise.- Has absolutely no smell right out of the box.- The casing is great quality 320 TC 100% cotton. It also has braided cord-like lace sewn into the main seam around the perimeter (makes the seam more durable).- It is filled in Canada (it actually shipped straight from Canada as well) - which simply makes me happy.- It has 15 years manufacturer's warranty against defects!!- It is perfectly warm when on cold days (I prefer to sleep in 59-60 F room temperature in the winter) but doesn't make you sweat on warmer days (62 oz of goose down is the most you can find pretty much anywhere - this is the criteria that matters most - not the fill power - because other comforters I have seen claimed to have same or similar fill power but only had 35-40 oz of down).- I have not seen a single feather leaving this comforter after almost a month of use (even when I shaked it vigorously to fluff it up when it arrived).Cons: NoneI cannot be happier about this purchase! Strongly recommend this comforter (and the Highland Feather brand in general) to anyone!

Not happy with the quality of this duvet.
I am not happy with this purchase. This duvet failed to live up to advertised quality. I emailed the company, Highland Feather Mfg Co several weeks ago and they have failed to respond back to me. I paid top price but did not receive top quality.

800 Loft European White Down Comforter
This is the finest, and most high loft comforter that we've ever had. I have slept better every night since putting this beautiful down comforter on our bed. It's pricey, but so soft and keeps you nice and warm without being too hot. Beautifully made and each baffle is full of down. Wonderful!

BEST comforter I've ever owned
BEST comforter I've ever owned! Was worth every penny! Down stays put, each square is filled evenly, not too puffy or heavy, and keeps our winter nights in CT perfectly warm! Very well made and pretty!
