I had another one before this that just gave up (can't remember brand) but it was slanted (couldn't control the slant) and it was impossible for making eggs or anything runny. It also was a pain to clean. It had really good reviews so I bought it, but this one is far better. The other one had issues with heat control (only one side heat up super hot). This is even heat.What I like is that you can prop it up on one side or make level. that's handy depending on what you are cooking.It is small and compact for storing and using on a counter. Mind you, it's not as big as typical ones so can't cook AS much but I feel the compact size is more advantageous overall. Easy to store.seems like pancakes etc. stick less compared to the last one we had.The place where you stick the temperature control part in seems far more durable and secure than last brand we have. It doesn't wobble around. Like that.For price, really good value.Highly recommend.

I like that I have more room to cook. Not as heavy duty as another I’ve had. I like that you can tilt so grease goes into grease pan. Easy to clean.
