Love this simple to use don't use the FM setting I just use the dab. Loose the signal sometimes when travelling on bus (this is usually in countryside) but easy to change stations so not really a problem. I think this is a great little radio for company when travelling it's light and easily rechargable. Usb so can even plug it into the bus and listen if low on battery

Brilliant little radio. Once I’d plugged in the earphones (the wire doubles as an aerial) it scanned and identified 75 channels, the same is my larger and significantly more expensive Roberts Revival. It is also very lightweight.Incredibly easy to use and the rechargeable battery last ages - I’ve used the radio a lot over two days and the battery indicator has not dropped at all.All in all, the radio represents excellent value for money and I highly recommend.

I bought this radio because it was very compact and had DAB+ which I needed in UK.Very easy to set up and nice headphones creating a quality sound for the size.Using another jack plug and lead it works in my car system no problem.Great for the price and I would have given 5 stars but the advertising was not correct. The unit only has 10 FM and 10 DAB memories but that will do me.Still like it a lot!

I like listening to radio in bed before sleeping. At home I have a bedside dab radio, but bought this for my rather frequent weekend trips. It was delivered very quickly and immediately put on to charge overnight. I was amazed by how many stations it tuned to, we are in a fairly poor reception area but it pulled in more stations than our mains unit. It is simple to set your desired preset stations. Reception is clear and bright through the supplied headphones which act as the aerial. I also tried it with my single side headphone, for laying on your side, reception was just as good, but sound a little less sharp. The whole construction is plastic, but appears quite solid and the led display is clear, bright and gives quite a bit of chanel information. Controls are simple and intuitive.All round I would say this is an extremely good buy for anyone who does a bit of travelling and enjoys radio.

PROS:small, light, easy to use and store radio stations; good sound quality, comfortable headphones.CONS:1) signal is not too stable - if you sit/stand still then it is OK, but if you move around, or move the heaphones cable around, e,g. when adjusting its position in your clothing, the signal gets interrupted momentarily and crackles for a couple of second until it destabilises.2) BIGGEST PROBLEM: in their efforts, the designers of this radio did NOT put in the bit of circuitry that switches off the display, so the display is on ALL THE TIME. Contrast this with a mobile phone, the display of which switches off after a short period, to save battery use. The result for this radio is that the display sucks power out of the battery all the time that the radio is switched on, so it means the battery lasts about a day before it needs to be recharged. It's worse than modern mobile phone batteries that nowadays can last a couple of days of careful use! So it means you have to treat this radio as if it is like an older-style mobile phone, and charge it daily, to be sure it doesn't just cut out in the middle of your favourite programme because the battery has died.3) Related to 2): if you like to listen to the radio at night in bed, you need to put it under your pillow to prevent the display from lighting up the area where you are sleeping; this fact that the display is on all the time could be disturbing for you and maybe partners at night, if you like a dark room!!!VERDICT: overall the radio is very handy, but the signal instability and the constantly-lit display makes me wish I had not bought it. But I will continue to use it, now I have it, but I expect it will not last too long because the battery will be exhausted in a much shorter time than necessary. Therefore don't recommend to buy this, and instead look for a radio that states its display will switch off after, e.g. 30 seconds, to improve the battery life and your general life.ADDITIONAL POINTS:1) I mean "restabilises", not "destabilises" (autocorrect takes over!!)2) I found that it is possible to force the radio into mono mode rather than stereo mode, using the menu option button; this seems to solve the crackling problem, as long as you don't mind mono sound; no problem for speech.3) Need to also check battery usage in FM rather than DAB; I once had an older DAB radio that ate batteries, seemingly because of the DAB. I don't know if this battery life can be extended by using it on FM rather than DAB, but if you have unwittingly bought one of these radios, you could try to see if it makes a difference.4) If the manufacturers of this radio read this review and can fix the display so it switches off after 30 seconds, then I would be delighted to test it for you!Steve

The Rose gold and white dab/dab+ fm mini radio item was delivered on time, which was good. It is nice looking and good size.The earphones were missing but I tried it with my own ones as I read on other reviews any other corded earphones will work.I first charged it for 8 hours and the battery did last a while. The sound quality and display are good. Dab not so good on overground train maybe the train was in a bad spot, so switched to fm which worked a bit better.The round buttons are bit clicky noisy, a negative point which I didn't like. The handstrap was ok, for safety to prevent accidents in dropping it I suppose. It needs a clip on or something to hang on your person instead of taking it and out of your pocket, often which I did. Sorry I'm not completely happy with it and so will return. Love

I had a "Pure" pocket radio for years but the battery started slowing down, but it's ok, it was 7 years old. So, treating myself to a new radio for my daily walking. The PR1L; this is crystal clear, very very easy to auto tune and battery lasts more than long enough. It has a volume warning (you have to agree to turn it up over a certain level), which is a bit silly but I expect that is some pointless legislation. I haven't used the Bluetooth connectivity yet, but that was not a function I bought it for, so I doubt I'll use it. As a small pocket radio it's superb.

Absolutely fantastic! Light weight, so easy to use. Frequency is so clear as is the sound. Brilliant.
