IT WAS A GIFT FOR A FRIEND IN A WHEEL CHAIR AND A MOTORIZED LIFT RECLINER, WHEN POWER WAS INTERUPTED IT SERVED AS A POWER SOURCE TO LIFT HIM FROM THE RECLINER AND BACK UNTIL POWER WAS RESTORED. IT WORKED PERFECTLY AND ALSO SUPPLIED EMERGENCY LIGHTING DURING THE POWER FAILURE FOR OVER 8 HOURS UNTIL MORNING. ITS A GREAT LIGHT WEIGHT UNIT AND I RECOMMEND IT TO OTHER VETERANS WHO ARE IN THE SAME PREDICAMENT.

This is an update on my original review where I gave this small generator 3 stars. I have a couple small issues with this unit that got mostly resolved. Never completely got the percentage of power gauge sinked with the actual battery life remaining, not a biggie. I live off grid most of the time and since 2021 had used larger Bluetti generators, which I have also had some issues with. Anyway a few month in with this DaranEner unit using a few times each week to charge my Laptop, phone as well as to top off my E-mountain bike, the DC side of my unit failed. The light on the unit in back still worked but all USB outputs were dead. That for the most part made this particular unit useless to me. I informed the company of the issue via email. They promply responded to my query and asked for further details regarding the issue, as well as a short video showing the issue. Being very tech inept these days, I could not get my phone video onto my laptop which is where I do everything except calls and texts from. I explained this to customer service which they understood and promptly told me they would replace the unit, and not to bother returning the old one, which still worked fine on the AC side of the unit! This is how customer service should be done, and in my expeience is rarely found in the Solar market!!! Bluetti has gotten better but DaranEner does it very well right out of the gate, great job DaranEner!!!!! I use this particular small generator mainly for E-bike touring, charging everything from A-Z along the way. Other than the great customer service here are a few other reasons why you should consider this company for at least your small to medium sized solar generator needs in priority order, 1) 30 volt solar input, this allow me to wire 2-18 volt 40 watt small solar panels together and mount them over my luggage in back charging all day as I ride. I usually go through a bike battery every couple hours. I remove the spent battery and hook to this Daran unit to recharge as I move to my spare battery and repeat as needed. I have infinate range as long as I have sun! Second this unit is compact and light weight, beyond what most others offer, at roughly 6 lbs it's perfect, as weight and size are super important given all the other equiptment I carry! And finally is the cost, Daren is one of the most cost efficient offerings on the market, and given the great and responsive customer service this is a huge advantage to those of us who are end users. I received my replacement unit in less than a week from the time they told me I would be sent a replacement!!!! I can't say enough good thing about this generator and the company behind it! I 'm pretty hard to make happy when a product I have purchased has a defect issue. DaranEner checked all my happy boxes, you won't regret buying one!!

This little life saver is worth it!! Purchased for Off Road Camping & charging. Able to run a projector for 6+ hours. Charges a laptop within 40 minutes. Great purchase she's small but mighty!!

This thing is pretty cool! Even has a digital timer to tell you how long it will take to charge itself or other items. Good investment that we plan to use for outings

did what is supposed to do. used it on cold weather with no problem.

Very easy product to use,ease of operation BUT will not last near as long as advertised. Used it tonight to charge one drone battery and it’s down to 14%. Do not buy for anything more than phone charging

The unit itself charges within about 3hrs... lasted a few days. I charge phones, ear buds, keyboard, mouse, tablet, picture frame, automatic lights, and hot spot. Unit is light weight and easy to port around. Might get my children one for Christmas.
