works great on mud

Works great!
This pump is exactly what I needed to pump put my fish pond. It is just the right size and easy to use. The cord was long enough to plug on the side of my house. If you're looking for a great pump for a great price this is my recommendation.

A Real Keeper
You want something that really works, well this one does. I could drain my pool with the main pump, but couldn't remove the waste water after pressure washing because the main pump didn't have enough water head. This sump pump removed the waste water in minutes. I'm to say the least impressed.

Pumps great with large diameter hose
I bought this pump to remove rain water from the pool cover.First I tried a half inch diameter output hose, pump would not even lift the water 1 foot. I next bought a 12' by 1" washing machine drain hose (standard diameter washer drain). WOW it pumps like crazy now. Do not need to have auto shutoff because it pumps so fast.

Works well
We live in the tropical rain forest, and so have been through several submersible pumps over the years. The Agiman is one of the best I have used. It does have enough suction power to drain (even a deep) in ground pool. It drains the water down to a fraction of an inch and then turns off suction. You caj leave it plugged in, because if it fills up again the pump will kick back in. (This is a daily experience for us ;)If I could I would have rated it 4.5 stars. The only reason I did not rate it 5 stars is that it is made of plastic. We had a Wayne pump which lasted us close to 10 years. I have only had this a few months and wso can not say how long it will last, but I am guessing not 10 years. The other pump is 30% more expensive. This is unquestionably the best pump I have fouind in this price range, and I have tried a few.
