Sizing runs small......

Let me start by saying that I love these sweaters. They look just as pictured. Material is nice and thick. The problem is with the youth sizing though. I have a family of 4. I ordered the women's xl for myself. Rather top heavy and the sweater seems to be pretty true to sz. My partner is 6'3 and the mens 2xl fit true to sz. Now as far as my children, we have an 11 year old under 5ft, under 100 lbs daughter and an average 5 year old son. Those kid sizes are definitely not your average American youth sizes. Any other time I'd order my son a small and my daughter a L/XL. I ordered my sons 1st just to get a feel of the sz and the small is definitely not a 6/7, its probably a 3t! Ended up ordering a med & xl after and they didn't look much different in size. The xl fit my 6 year old the way a regular small would. Tried to order a womens small for my daughter but it wouldn't come until January and who needs a Christmas sweater then, so they all have to be returned. Hope this is helpful, great sweaters, but order ahead with time to exchange
