I wanted to get a seriously waterproof raincoat for an upcoming trip to Scotland in the Spring -where I anticipate temps between 35-maybe 50 degrees F. The lining in this coat makes it the perfect weight. The teal color is beautiful and the fit is slimming. I love the fabric, which I would describe as kind of neoprene. There are huge inside, open pockets and zipper pockets. As another reviewer mentioned, the two way zipper is really handy. Overall, an excellent value for a waterproof raincoat.

I purchased this coat for a trip to Maine expecting cold rain. I bought it two sizes too big because I intended to wear layers underneath it. At one point I had 4 layers under it and zipped it up. We did encounter light rain and strong winds - and the coat stood up to both. The material is stretchy so it was extremely comfortable and good for motion. It has a cinch in the waist on the inside which was great when not wearing all those layers. Velcro on the sleeves worked well for my short arms. During the coldest parts I let the sleeves down to keep my hands warm. Also - ZIPPER POCKETS! And inside pockets for more protected storage. I felt warm and protected without feel overheated. The coat is a good midweight I think. I would definitely buy again and thinking about buying a second color.

I ordered the teal colored jacket with detachable hood in medium. I wore for two days on vacation.The pros are many: great lightweight fit, warm inner layer, flattering fit, kept me dry in a light rain (and dried quickly after rain), long length, double zipperThe reason I must return: My long curly hair kept getting stuck everywhere. Since it was a removable hood, there was an additional collar- great for warmth but my hair would stick to the fleece lining. There are also toggles on either side of the collar, hair was constantly getting stuck in those too. The hood itself, since it was removable, seemed smaller and only came up to about the crown of my head when I pulled up to protect from the rain.If you have shorter hair or plan to always wear it back, I absolutely recommend this coat with removable hood. Me, I’m going to go back and reorder the one with just a regular hood. Great quality coat, but the collar situation did not work with the amount of curly hair I have.

This is hands down the best jacket for rain, wind, and/or cold. The quality is top notch and it's very comfortable and not bulky. I may have to get a few of the other colors. Very happy with this purchase.

This just arrived yesterday and I was quite impressed with several quality features. The removable hood has hidden Velcro tabs inside the collar that hold the hood-tabs away from face when not using. When hood is removed, the zipper is hidden and held in place with narrow strips of Velcro, making the collar lay flat. The front zipper has a little triangle of fold-over of lining fabric to keep the top of the zippered collar off my neck. And the inside pockets! They are huge - and on both sides. Generous enough to fit an iPad mini, or a book. Outside pockets have zips, too. I like the hidden waist-cinching feature for a flattering fit. I feel the coat is just a wee bit oversized and I am glad for it as I can wear sweaters and cardigans under the coat and still get it zipped comfortably. And I love the length, it covers my bum for extra warmth and wind protection. I cannot judge the waterproofness as it hasn’t rained but I’m sure it will top notch feature, too.

At first I ordered the medium size, I am 5.5 and weigh 155, based on other reviews said it runs big. It did fit me but with minimal clothing underneath, so then I ordered the large it fit much better and could comfortably wear a sweater or sweatshirt without feeling confined. But then it wasn't quite warm enough for our low temperatures. So I'm returning both. Overall its a nice looking jacket and very comfortable, and I really liked the zipper, once you zip it up uou can unzip from the bottom if you wear it while driving.

I typically don't like rain jackets, because I seem to sweat a lot in them, and I always felt like I got wet. This jacket is different. The material feels more like a soft, cloth, cotton, but it works. You may see water on the outside, but the inside never gets wet. The outside of the jacket dries very quickly. The jacket is very comfortable. I was not sweating in it. As the weather became cooler, I only needed to add a sweater and I felt warm. The temperatures I dealt with ranged from 45 degrees F to 70 degrees F. I'm 5'5" tall, my weight ballooned to 230 pounds, so I ordered size 3X. Very comfortable fit. I traveled to an area where it rained 7 days out of 9. On day 2 of the rain, it was also very windy. My umbrella was torn up, so I had to stand in the rain most of the day. I realized how nice the hood was, it was large enough to protect my face. I never felt cold. I had a small purse; I was able to zip it inside the coat so that it didn't get wet. I assumed that the coat would be wet inside when I took it off, but it was dry inside. I did pick up another umbrella later in my trip, but I knew I could trust this coat. I will be ordering this coat again once I lose weight. My photo is of my coat after being in the rain for 7 days.

Wonderful jacket! It fits perfectly, sizing is accurate. Well-made. Great outdoor jacket. Lots of pockets and flattering. I wear an XL and it’s slimming.

Lined with a soft lining, detachable hood, pockets inside and zip pockets outside, adjustable waist cinch inside, velcro adjustment on sleeves, beautiful color. I liked it on the description/ad.. but its better than that! Beautiful teal color, too :) Suitable for non rainy days in spring or fall, too.

I freaking love this jacket. I sized up to accommodate the girls and I'm so glad I did. It gets chilly in metro Vancouver when it rains and this lets me wear a light sweater or a hoodie if I want. The length is perfect and the dual zipper is so helpful when sitting down.I'm so happy I invested in this jacket.

This coat is exactly what I was looking for for fall. It is warm, comfortable, and water proof. After reading the reviews I ordered one size larger than I usually do and it fits perfectly. I've gotten lots of compliments on the color.

I am big busted so its hard to find tops and jackets that fit. It has a bit of room to put a light hoodie under it. I like the draw strings to cinch the waist a bit as well as the inside pockets. Will update later how it breathes after our upcoming trip to a warmer destination.

Wore while traveling Europe. Was light when needed and threw a hoodie underneath when it was cool and did the trick perfectly. Looks great on and love the zipper pockets and inside pockets.
