The product does actually lather up, but you need to use a lot more than indicated. I use two shakes- per section on my head. I section my head into 5 areas. I add a few drops of water and rub it into my scalp. So I use about 10 shakes per wash. It’s a very good product, it lathers and cleans well but a bit overpriced. I would give ut 5 stars if the tiny bottle was double in size. There is nobody that can wash their entire head with only 2 shakes as instructed on the bottle

This is body wash powder. Just add some water and it makes bubbles. Cleans body well and the mild scent feels refreshing. The bottle is quite small and it is not liquid so great for traveling.

I really had my doubts about a powder body wash that comes out of a shaker. I had to use more than recommended, which (to me) makes that price point really hurt. I didn't find it to be wonderful when compared to the cost. I do like that it cleans, as well as having a nice scent, but it isn't something I'd purchase again nor recommend. Maybe if you are traveling and don't want to have an accident where your items get soaked?

I was very interested to try this shampoo, I had never seen anything like it before. The scent is amazing, so I was excited to use it. With their recommendation, I shook the can twice into my hand, added a little water, lathered up a little in my hands, and then into my hair. I was a little disappointed when I started shampooing, the lather disappeared almost immediately. Sometimes I have to wash twice to get a good lather, so I tried it again... same thing - lather disappeared right away. My hair didn't feel particularly clean afterward, and if your hair is on the dry side, you'll DEFINITELY need a conditioner after using. The only reason for my 4-star review is because of the lack of lather when washing (personal preference). I do like the idea of powdered shampoo, and the scent is wonderful! No real complaints, just not for me.

The first thing I want to say is-THIS STUFF IS AMAZING! It is my new favorite/holy grail haircare product!I wasn't sure what to expect with this being in a powder form, but the formula and delivery mode are incredible!For reference, I have very long (3/4 down my back), super thick hair. My hairdresser always says that 1/4 of my hair is thicker than most people's whole heads. My strands are textured but fine. I always have issues with volume (due to the weight), and my hair gets highlighted every 8 weeks. My scalp has always been on the greasy side and I wash every other day, and use dry shampoo on my off days (that leaves a terrible build up).This is actually easier (in my opinion) to use than traditional liquid shampoo. You just shake this directly onto your head (1-3 shakes depending on your hair length and thickness). Since the hair is wet, the powder sticks right to it and you don't loose any product at all.The powder is very fine and 3 shakes doesn't seem like a lot (especially considering I use a palm full of liquid shampoo!), but once you start working this into the hair, you get such a beautiful, rich, creamy lather. It almost has the slip of a good conditioner, but it gets into the thickest parts of my hair and scrubs it clean.It's normally so hard for me to really get into the back part of my hair, around and under the crown. Even with a scalp brush, other shampoos just don't penitrate the forest of hair back there. But this formula does! I have no issue working this in. I feel like there is also some powder (or some type of grit) that doesn't dissolve 100% and really aids in scrubbing the scalp and getting rid of buildup.This rinses out of my hair very well and, even though it cleans (but doesn't strip) the hair like a clarifying shampoo would, this DOES NOT make my hair feel dry, damage or stripped (when wet or dry). I usually have to brush my conditioner through in the shower (I'm prone to tangles too), but because this has that slip, my hair barely needs conditioner at all!It's literally amazing how well this works!The smell of the matcha is absolutely heavenly! In the shower it is so fresh, calming and clean, and my hair smells incredible, just like the product, after I'm done blow drying it too. This is easily the BEST smelling shampoo ever!So this cleans my hair spectacularly. It smells amazing. It doesn't strip, rather it conditions. It also gives my hair volume that I don't think I've ever had in my life! My hair is so full and bouncy! And because it cleans so well, I'm not having to use the dry shampoo on my off days. My hair has never been so shiny, healthy or clean before!I realize this is the longest review ever of shampoo, but I really love this product SO MUCH and I'm pretty convinced everyone else that uses it will love it too! Yes, the container seems small, but it comes full to the top of product and a little goes a long way! I feel ill get about 50-55 washes based on my usage so far. That means that it's actually more affordable than a mid grade (or even premium) shampoo! That makes this a seriously impressive value!I will stockpile this stuff, because I don't ever want to use another shampoo again!Bottom line- GET THIS ASAP!

I definitely see myself tossing this in my bag for future beach trips this summer, or for short weekend vacations. It can be a bit drying (especially if like me, your hair is color treated) but I have just compensated with a good conditioner after. You may have to use a lot to get a good suds situation going on, just FYI.

I like everything about this body wash...err, powder. The bottle is cute, the concept is great, it didn't irritate my ultra sensitive skin. I normally use an almond shower oil as my skin can't take too many products, which was my worry. I was praying it wouldn't be an exfoliating type powder and it's not. It's, thankfully, very slick when wet. I like it a lot for shaving. I dislike scented product and though this is fragrance-free it smells natural and refreshing, not perfume-y at all, which is what I hate. So! Great ingredients, environmentally sound, cruelty-free, nice natural scent, will last a good while, and will serve well for travel. BEST of all is that it doesn't irritate my skin. It's really very hard to find...I found a little goes a long way, and with all the pros, the $25 (at time of review) is fair, IMO.
