NUVADERMIS Clear Silicone Scar Tape for Surgical Scars - 120" x 1.5" Roll - Extra Long Scar Sheets for C-Section, Tummy Tuck, Keloid, and Surgical Scars - Reusable Medical Grade Silicone Scar Tape : desertcart.in: Health & Personal Care Review: Pésima se arruga y lastima no se adhiere Review: Well I was skeptical but this actually works to disappear the raised line of a scar and probably the entire scar but its only been on 10 days. New scar from open heart surgery two months ago is almost flush with my skin instead of raised. I did do cross friction over the tape. The red line is still there but it has lessened in color. The tape is reuseable so its not like you have to order a lot. It washes, dries and reapplies just fine.

I had some old surgical scars along one side of my chest from 4yrs ago. Most are hypertrophic, all are at least red. I have surgical scars down the other side of my chest and on my neck from a year ago. I started using the tape on all of them at the same time. The tape sticks pretty well if you use a large enough piece. However, it will not stick as well in areas of skin the move it many directions like near the breast/armpit because it will become wrinkled easily. In areas like this, it's better to use a large piece of tape. But for example on the center of the chest, it gives a good seal. I exercise (sweat and shower) daily. If I take the tape off and stick them back on, it won't stick very well. If I wash them, it also won't last long. However, I can just leave these on without touching them a few days. But around 5-7 days, it really isn't sticking well anymore and needs to be changed. I had one time were I got a rash, maybe from sweat under the tape but it was only one time. So after a year, I saw no difference in the 4 yr old scars. That tracks with clinical trials with silicone tape. With the new scars, they look about the same, not quite as bad as my old scars. My neck scar is nearly invisible. So I have a feeling that scars just heal differently for different people in different areas of the body. The tape probably makes very little difference. Who knows, maybe it would have gotten alot worse if I didn't use it. A few months ago, I accidentally picked up something hot and burned my finger tips. I found this tape worked well for wrapping up my finger tips vs using a bandaid. So the tape can be useful for just covering. Still, other than some annoyance, it doesn't really hurt to try it. It likely won't make much of a difference. The location of your scar and how your body reacts to it probably is a much bigger driver as to how the scar will look.

GREAT FOR SCARS!!! I got a nasty cut on my right forearm resulting in 11 stitches. I saw this somewhere where it could be used on scars and wrinkles. I purchased the clear roll. The scar on my arm was slightly raised. I placed a strip on it and left it several days. When I removed it, the scar didn't feel raised and my skin was so soft. I was amazed when I followed the instructions for washing in warm water and allowed to dry. It retained its stickiness and I was able to reuse it. I'm waiting to use the same strip after another washing. It's still sticky. It doesn't leave a residue on your skin. Can't wait to use it on a few facial wrinkles. :-) It's well worth the price!!! Highly recommend!!!! 5+++ stars!!!
