I have a box full of Orbit timers that didn't last much more than a year. Always leary when Chinese products start flooding the market, but, so far, this is as easy to use as the Orbit and working fine. Fraction of the price of an Orbit.

This works just fine at a price better than the others.I installed the 2 AAA batteries (not included, I used my own) and then programed the device. Be sure to pay attention to the AM and PM when setting the current time.I use mine to water for a few minutes every hour as I just planted grass seed and the soil needs to stay moist in order for the seeds to germinate. I did not want to get up in the middle of the night and water every hour so this device does the dirty work for me.I will say the first time I turned it on the water flowed immediately when I expected it not to. Once the first cycle ran, the water stopped as designed and it has worked flawlessly ever since. Just be aware the water is turned 'on' at first use. I will continue to use this device until my entire new lawn has sprouted and taken root. After that, I will not have any need.. but even if I never use it again it was worth the convenience for the short time it was used. Recommended.

The timer is easy to use easy to set up. He said all the times and the dates how long you wanted to run it and then if you want to use it manually, it’s pretty easy to use there so overall pretty good timer

This lasted 24 hours before the shut-off mechanism broke and started leaking. I have the self-diagnosed type of high-functioning autism that forces me to take things apart and fix them when they break, so I did what was natural for me and began to unravel the secrets of this budget garden accessory. There is an electric stepper motor on the inside that releases and attracts a magnetic pin behind a rubber stopper. This mechanism creates a vacuum to stop water flow or releases it to stop the flow. It is so fragile and poorly designed that if you accidentally set your water pressure a little too high, it will break this vacuum mechanism and cause water to flow when it should be off. I am outside of my return window, but there was educational value in this device for me.

Eazy to operate and a good product.

I was surprised by what I received which seemed 'more' than I paid for. I expected a lot less for the price, especially in relation to the prices of the other units. If you're a garden 'starter', this may be the unit for you BUT I have only been using it for a few days. My only 'concern' is the two AAA batteries that power it and how long they will last. Perhaps I will update later...

I’ve used Rainpoint timers for my drip irrigation networks in the past years. I ordered these timers to replace the RainPoint timers which have begun to fail. These timers are much less expensive and seem to do everything as the Rainpoint timers.I just installed five of these timers and so far the transition from RainPoint is seamless.I would recommend everyone to try these timers. You’ll save money without sacrificing function.

This timer works fine. Only complaint is I pulled on an already taut hose and separated the upper hose Bibb nut from the timer. I got it back on with a set of deep jaw channel lock pliers as it is just “pressed” on so it can be threaded onto the hose Bibb faucet. The whole thing is plastic so that’s probably my only complaint. It is easy to program and does work

I took this sprinkler timer for our summer house where we have a solid piece of land for a small garden with home grown veggies. Typically we delegate watering and housekeeping duty to our friend neighbor who is taking care of it but with this timer we hope to automate this tedious maintenance work.Timer is made of high quality plastic and I noticed it is carefully designed and protected to be waterproof.Display is very clear to see and commands, both buttons and mode option dialer are on the hard side to press / rotate which gives me confidence of watertightness and quality.Dimensions are W: 11.3 cm; H: 7.2 cm; D: 4.7 (just device without hose connectors)Package contains a device, one seal, a little bit of watertight tape and an instruction manual.Note that 2 AAA batteries are not included.Lid on the back side where you put batteries is also well sealed so you need to use moderate force to pull it out and add batteries.Function changing is trivially simple. Changing zones, different modes and setting up time and timer is all done by a few button presses or rotating function dial.I also loved the option to delay watering in case there is rain pouring outside. You can skip the full cycle until the next one with just one press of the button.Real test is yet to be conducted when I go to my summer house but so far the initial impressions are excellent. I’m happy with what I’m seeing.Conclusion: this is a solid quality timer that will satisfy plant watering needs without any worries. You only need to take care if batteries are still operational.Final verdict: 5 stars

Doesn't leak. Easy to program. Very satisfied.

I purchased two, so i could utilize two sprinklers to automatically water a garden that is on two levels. I feel its a pretty value so far. They are both working well. This is the first week so ,so far so good.
