Brother NQ1700E Embroidery Machine, 6" x 10" Field Size, Cuts Jump Stitches, Wireless, Includes BES Lettering Software + Brother Magnetic SAMF180 Hoop + Mr. Vac & Mrs. Sew - Embroidery Magic Video

I got this machine for Christmas 2023. 3 months later attached are projects completed or in progress. The learning curve was not hard at all considering I have sewed for 40+ years on my regular Brother sewing machine. The computer touch screen is great, stitching is very close and precise with the patterns preloaded. I have not downloaded other patterns yet but enjoying the ones the machine provides. Keep in mind the quality of stitch pattern you stitch is dependant on how good the quality of digitized format. The Brother patterns included are detailed and quality. I included a close up of one font to see stitching and size and a short video. I made dragon pennants for my granddaughter's BD party. She loved them hanging in the backdrop. Now I can use after party for a quilt, pillows, tote, etc. I have only used recommended Brothread so far and very pleased with quality, colors, and results. Suggest trying one spool of other brand first to make sure machine works well with other brand thread before buying a bundle pack. I bought 1 Sulky spool as another color choice brand line option to try before investing in that brand. I have used the Brothread stabilizer with good results as well. So many more features to learn on the machine. I am loving it so far with just 3 months of usage. Vendor was Mr Vac and Mrs. Sew and they were GREAT in communication for an adjustment during a sale price. Highly recommend their customer service! Updated 4 additional pics with more projects 04/29/24. Absolutely love this machine and the quality of embroidery. Makes projects look very professional and personalized with names, specific colors, etc. These are all designs preloaded in the machine. The flowers on the sewing pattern are asterisks in one of the fonts enlarged to the largest it can increase. I just randomly placed them on the pattern. Play with adding patterns on top of patterns. I reasearched embroidered machines during our MO Quilt Shop Hop last year and this machine does everything I wanted it to do for a lot less than a machine I could purchase at a quilting store. Keep in mind most do offer classes but some still charge $100/ hour to learn the machine. If you are familiar with a Brother sewing machine and don't mind testing the machine features yourself, watching YouTube and reading a manual. This machine will save you lots of $$$$.

This is an amazing embroidery machine. It was easy to learn how to use. I had a Brother PE770 and this upgrade is awesome.

Arrived quicker than expected! Packaged very well and safe. Such a great value to get the magnetic hoop along with it! Love the machine itself as well. It is an upgrade from my previous and it is definitely a powerhouse. Only bummer for me is that the BES software that came in this bundle is only compatible with Windows and I have a Mac.

The NQ1700e is my first embroidery machine and I'm having fun learning what I can do with the machine. At this point I've had it for 7 months. The up to 6x10 hoop size allows a great range of projects at a very affordable price point. As a first time user of this type of machine, I was a bit intimidated at first but Brother provides a great user manual & has online videos for learning. The sturdy machine stitches nicely, is easy to use, & has higher end functions such as cutting jump stitches. As I have an apple computer, files get transferred to the machine via flash drive. You can then keep it on the flash drive or download into the machine. The machine comes with a lot of preloaded files and a printed manual of all the designs. The machine doesn't take up much room on my table, it's about the size of my Brother sewing machine & serger put together. For transport or storing, the embroidery section removes, making it lighter and easier to move.

This machine sucks words can’t express how much I hate this machine and the so called $500 software that came with it in so disappointed in this machine because unless you have a degree in computers then maybe but right now know I use it as a paperweight

SEWS AND EMBROIDERS WELL. HOOP SIZE IS LIMITED. WON'T USE FRAMES I BOUGHT PREVIOUSLY EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE SMALLER THAN 6" X 10".
