No-brainer if you already stream Amazon Prime.
SUMMARY: Bright, sharp picture. Vibrant colors. At this price point, you’re getting way more than you’re paying for.First of all, nobody is making money on this TV except maybe Toshiba. This unit is so affordable likely because it’s a loss leader for Amazon Prime and Amazon Music (built in). It’s like selling a $35 printer, because the profits are made on the ink cartridges. Over the lifetime of this unit, Amazon will make more than enough off streaming subscriptions to offset the initial loss. I’m sure Netflix and Disney also paid to have their own buttons on the remote, further offsetting the cost of this unit.Keeping the low price in mind, the picture is outstanding. Bright enough for brightly lit rooms. As some have noted, the black point could be darker, but it is not fair to compare this with $1000+ screens. Unless you’re a professional film colorist or you are used to pro-level editing monitors, this is not something you’re going to notice.Previously, we had a non-smart TV with a firestick, so this eliminated one remote. A convenient “settings” button takes you directly to that menu, bypassing all the navigation.Built-in sound is pretty good, but we have a home-theater audio system connected with an optical cable, which truly completes the big-screen experience. (If you don’t want to go all out with 5.1 or 7.1, I have the Toshiba soundbar with subwoofer on another firetv, and it is outstanding.) Settings gives you the ability to adjust for bluetooth audio delay when you’re using buds or phones.Overall, if you’re already an Amazon Prime customer, this is a no-brainer.P.S. The 3-year protection plan is a good investment. I had another, smaller, Toshiba screen develop some thin black horizontal lines near the bottom of the screen after a couple of years, and it paid for the TV.

Great brand.
This is a good one. Color is great, sound is wonderful, easy to set. This one replaced an Amazon brand one that we just couldn't get the color set correctly. No matter what we did the color looked washed out and dull. This new Toshiba is wonderful. Much better.

This is a great tv. Wish I got a bigger one.
Yes, this is a great TV. It is small enough at 65" but it fits where I need it to go.. I have a 70' competitor, but this is so much better that that TV. The firestick remote is all use on it anyway.

Broken Software ruins a great piece of Hardware
The software needed to operate the TV is broken and ruins the experience of such a nice TV screen. I own 2 of these, one at home and one at work. Here are my main issues:1. It takes about 30 seconds to boot up the TV. This is sad, my old 90's TV's would turn on instantly and this TV takes time to boot up and 30 seconds doesn't sound like a long time until you are just sitting there waiting for the TV to boot up. Feels like I am using a Windows 95 computer every time I boot up the TV.2. There is no HDMI button on the remote. Sometimes I just want to boot into an HDMI port or switch from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 quickly (if I am watching two live games at the same time). Yet I cannot; to switch from HDMI to HDMI you have to click the home button, wait a few seconds for the menu to load, scroll over to HDMI, wait for loading, then click on which HDMI you want. This makes switching HDMI's take multiple button presses and multiple wait times. This is ridiculous and should've been looked into ahead of time.3. Sleep Timer is broken. The Sleep timer for the TV cannot be turned off. Meaning if you want your TV to be on for more than 4 hours you will have to continuously go back and press a button to keep the TV on. Not only that but the timer is broken as I have set the timer for the maximum of 4 hours and my TV could be off anywhere between 30 minutes and 4 hours, the timing is completely random from what I can tell. Now this is less of a big deal as I do not watch TV for more than 4 hours but is an issue at my work. I installed this TV in the lobby of my office and have it displaying the Amazon Photos app slideshow of all the projects we do. The problem is I cannot turn this on and leave it in the lobby for the whole day, I have to continuously go back and check if the slideshow is still playing in the lobby which will seemingly random play for 30 minutes to about 4 hours and then automatically turn off. Making this more of an annoyance than a fun way of marketing.Overall, I use Amazon Fire TV sticks all over my house and I truly like the interface. Yet when I am forced to use the interface because it is built into the TV itself it begins to affect things it never should have messed with such as not have a dedicated HDMI button, having long boot up and load times, and not being able to mess with basic TV functions such as sleep timers. These items should be hardware based and not software based, and it ruins the device in my opinion.

Great picture
Great picture/quality. I was looking for LG or Samsung but I’m glad I got the cheaper option because you can’t tell the difference.

Good TV - the pause / shut off feature is annoying sometimes.
Overall a great TV. The only thing I don't like is the TV goes into "sleep" mode after a few minutes of pausing anything on the screen, and I ha e searched the menus and the internet and haven't found a way to turn that off. It's a bit annoying to pause to fold a load of laundry or whatever, and come back and have to turn it on and get back to the show I was watching (First World Problem, Right??? LOL) - anyway. The other annoying issue is the constant pushing to AMAZON AMAZON AMAZON (but what do you expect from a FIRE tv??). You can turn off most of the tracking features, but every now and then it tried to sneak in a (make Amazon the default, or install this fire app that will help you... when it's actually a way to track everything you watch on the TV.Otherwise it has been great. nice bright clear picture and good sound out of the box.
