I have a Dell Inspiron 11 3147 and it has been my favorite laptop for the last 3 years. I misplaced my old charger but my wife had an XPS 13 with a similar charger. Everything was fine. Not long after that, the charger stopped working, giving me an error saying that it can't charge due to being an incorrect adapter. It did allow me to use the laptop if it is always plugged in but giving me errors every minute saying it was the wrong adapter. That dance went on for a year and I got tired of it. So I abandoned the laptop in the corner of my house. I searched through all the forums to see if there a solution, but all methods didn't work. I've tried other adapters but they also didn't work. I decided to try a leap of faith and purchased this adapter and long and behold, it is charging and no errors. Finally I am able to use my laptop again. Thank you.

This is the 2nd cord I've purchased. They work well for a pretty good while & then my 2n1 stops recognizing it so I order a new one.

Great replacement for Laptop

Does not work with my dell even though it is supposed to be compatible. It worked a few times and then quit. I can't find s any warranty information so beware.

Our computer hasn’t worked for many years due to not being able to locate our charger. We ordered this charger as it matched our computer and was a perfect fit!
