Front Load Washer Tub Bearing and Seal Kit with Nachi Bearings fits Samsung Tub DC97-17040 (5 Year Replacement Warranty and Link to Our How to Videos)

After 1 year since I bought Samsung WF42H5000AW it starts get noisier and noisier until one day smoke came out of it. Bedsides Samsung quality big issue It's my fault (was too busy and didn't pay attention). Appears to be failed seal cause ball bearing failure. So, I needed to replace ball bearing , seal and spider arm (around $250 all together, but still better that $1K new washer). Thanks to youtube there are a lot info on how to fix it. It is pita but doable. It' not OEM but quality seems to be OK.Time will tell. So far so good. Washer is working fine again. If it will last for a couple of year I will be happy.My advise: buy an insurance protection. Looking inside the washer construction I figured that it is designed to fail. Just a matter of time.

Washing machine sounded like a jet engine during the spin cycle. Sure sign of bearings going out. Lots of you tube video and was able to change out the bearings with these drop in replacements. Now the washer is as quiet as a mouse. Project was not that bad to do if you are handy. Took 4 hours but saved me hundreds in labor and parts from a repair tech. Don't hesitate if you have this problem. These bearings work well. Even comes with a new seal, which hopefully keeps the water out of the bearings better than the OEM one. Always replace both bearings while you are in there.

Not much else to say other than they work and Nachi bearings are great...and probably much better than OEM bearings.

The product fit and worked at the beginning, the seal failed and the bearings spun loose and the drum stopped spinning. The bearings worked for about 4 months just fine. The warranty was attempted, contacted seller and I was told I needed to retrieve the bearings to mail back for inspection which no one in their right mind is going to pay 300$ to get a refund for the low quality product. I purchased this for the extra protection in case they failed I wanted a superior product however this was a cheap bearing with a warranty that is very deceptive.

Seem like good quality bearings packed everything with grease at time of install to prevent any water issues these bearing actually stopped the washing .machine from dancing across the floor during spin cycles which it did from the day we bought it I would reccomend these to anyone doing this repair themselves
