I have probably reordered this 5x now. My older Cavalier has had yearly cleanings and dental care over the years, but finally did have a couple of teeth removed in the front, which I am told is an issue for small dogs, but then when she suddenly stopped eating her biscuits and treats I just had an idea they were too hard and crunchy for her little teethies. This did the trick! The first thing you'll notice is the smell is truly good enough to eat. The nice ziploc bag emits an aroma of fresh baked cookies upon opening. The heart shaped almost moist treats are easily bent in half to control the portion size. With 1 hand in the bag, you can break in half or thirds, without any crumbling. They stay infinitely fresh throughout the bag. My dog loves them, and will sometimes pat my arm and go to the table with the bag to prompt me to give her one. This flavor is slightly more delicoius than the bacon-y scented one (she told me).

My Golden Retriever loves these. As soon as I open the bag, she's on the way. They smell delicious and the heart shape is absolutely adorable. I like the fact that they are healthy, soft chews and I can break them in half or quarters since my girl seems to just gulp them down.Even though my girl has food sensitivities these have not caused digestive issues they've only made a big girl come running. :->) I encourage everyone to try these.

I have a 15 year old dog with very few teeth left and this company states that these treats are "SOFT".They are HARD AS A ROCK and my dog can't eat them.If I hadn't already opened them, they would've been sent back.If you're looking for SOFT chew dog treats DO NOT BUY THESE!!
