Nano Pro Coffee Scale with Timer, Espresso Scale with Auto Tare, Aluminum Body, Touch Sensor and Silicone Cover (White)

I've had the scale for about a month now and I'm loving it. It's accurate, it's compact. I am not using the auto-timer function ...because I really have no need for that. It weighs, tares and times exactly the way I want it to for aeropressing, Chemex or Hario pour over coffee. The silicone mat protects the surface and more importantly protects the charge port from getting wet in case I spill. It's thin enough to use with my Expobar Brewtus IV espresso machine as long as I use my naked porta-filter ...which is all I've been using for a decade now. The display is nice and bright and the response time is adequate for my use.I charged it for several hours when it arrived and after a month of use, it's still on its initial charge. Note that it will not charge unless the on/off switch is set to "on". That's not the way anything else I have ever owned works, but for some reason they designed it this way. It's not an issue, the physical power switch is just set to "on" 24/7 ...the unit will come alive with a 2 second touch on the right spot on the touch interface. There is a little delay with each touch and I'm guessing that's so it does not respond to inadvertent touches.I recommend this inexpensive alternative to the other much higher priced scales out there. It looks great and functions perfectly.

Based on a number of negative reviews, I was tempted to pass on the Nano Coffee Scale. Glad I took the chance. This scale is the perfect size to use under the cup when measuring out espresso shots.In all fairness to those who left negative reviews about how to operate the scale and how the scale appeared unstable or unpredictable, I had the same issues at first. I think reading how all the functions work made everything appear far more complicated than they are. When I re-read the instructions (which are very well-written), I realized I was over-thinking everything. Operating the scale is far easier than it sounds in the user manual. The last thing that may throw some people off is that the display does not respond instantly when you tap a button, giving you the feeling you may have missed and tempting you to over-tap. Give it a second and everything falls perfectly into place.What I love. . . I turn the scale on, place it under the brew head, put a cup on it, wait for it to automatically tare and set to 00.0, start my extraction. When I stop the brew, the shot timer and the final weight display automatically stop at the same time. Perfect.

I've had this scale for six months. First, the things I appreciate about this scale and miss because it no longer works properly. Cover - helps keep it clean and dry. Tare - easy to tare a vital feature for meticulous espresso brewing. Timer - while I don't always use this feature I can accurately sense in my head an appropriate shot, it is very useful for completing the picture of grind, weight, and draw time. USB-C charger - this is convenient and compatible with my cords and chargers. The downside is catastrophic. After about four months, the scale became unstable. Weight readings started bouncing around revealing different weights. It has become impossible to determine any weight. It is fully charged. I'm using the same bean holder - 35g, and expresso cup 70g, neither of which is heavy. It has not been immersed in water but has experienced a limited amount of splash, impossible to avoid when pulling expresso. I need another solution.

First, can’t charge with a USB-C to USB-C cable. Has to be USB-A to USB-C. And the scale has to be set to ‘ON’. I always forget this since it goes months between charges and spend 10-15 minutes trying to figure it out.Otherwise, it’s a great value for the money. Small size fits everywhere. Not water proof, but I’ve had no issues with splash and small amounts of water on it. Consistently accurate to 0.1g compared to reference scales and weights. Calibration hasn’t drifted in a year of use. Auto tare works great with every recipe I’ve tried it with on my Decent.It’s not the nicest scale I’ve ever had, but it’s a step up from most cheap scales. Other than the charging weirdness I have no real complaints.

This review is based on my experience and is my own personal honest opinion.I am totally happy with this precision Coffee scale. I carefully reviewed and searched before making my decision to purchase this unit. It is well built (aluminum main case, form fitting silicone protector, dual color red/white readout). I really appreciate the option to be able to turn off the button press beep. After becoming familiar with the operation, I no longer needed the button press beep confirmation.The scale measures accurately, it is very stable very sensitive. It has a long battery life (as long as you remember to turn it off when you're not using it). The timer can be set to automatically begin counting the moment you begin adding water and stops automatically when the weight stops increasing.Adding this unit to my coffee station has significantly improved my pour-overs. I am now able to accurately measure my single dose coffee beans and accurately brew the exact amount of coffee to my personal taste. NO MORE GUESSING! I would highly recommend this scale to anyone that wants to put in the effort to brew a fine cup of coffee. It is an invaluable tool that will help you attain that perfection you strive for. So I LOVE the way this scale looks, the size is perfect under my Breville Duo Temp Pro and the scale itself is simple to use and works great but the espresso timer feature doesn’t work AT ALL.It’s such a bummer because it would just take this scale to another level especially at the price point it’s currently at. Without the espresso setting working, it essentially takes away half of the functionally of the scale which is why my review is at 3 stars, otherwise it’s fabulous.

The media could not be loaded.  I don't do Amazon reviews but I have to come here just to write about this great little scale. First of all it is surprisingly heavy and robust feeling for its size. Second it fits very well underneath my espresso machine and third the features work great. Easy to clean. This one is one of the better units I have tried from amazon. Highly recommend it. I think it will be useful for people making espresso and even pour over.

I bought the "pro" version. Build quality is great. The scales fit easily between the feet of the Flair 58. All modes work exactly as expected, and I find the espresso mode with auto-tare and auto-timer works flawlessly. Scales seem accurate and sensitive to 0.1g which allows for single bean accuracy. I like the rubber mat which provides adequate protection for the occasional drip.

Ha anche lo spegnimento automatico ed un tappetino in silicone rimovibile.E' abbastanza precisa, ma a volte è capricciosa e aumenta il peso dopo che si è messa sopra la tazzina e premuto il timer, pertanto non mi sento di definirla affidabile in senso assoluto.L'ho preferita ad altre simili che costavano molto di meno, dato che ho letto recensioni ottime, ma dò una stella in meno per l'occasionale capricciosità che può essere fastidiosa.
