I am not easy to please. I admit it. So, I figured that at this price I had nothing to lose. When I received this case it was very well packaged. Triple shrink wrapped! I read bad reviews on OTHER cases, not this one. People were stating how hard it was to install, that it cracked, etc. Not this case. I had it installed within minutes, literally. The case has a nice soft feel. Obviously it does add a tiny bit of bulk - not a negative. The main reason I purchased it is because the aluminum gets very cold when I first use my MacBook Air. Silly reason I know, but that matters to me. Now I have a case that not only feels awesome, but seems very well made. The price is so low, you just can't go wrong. Not a fingerprint magnet. Excellent quality. Protects my MacBook physically as well. Love it!Update #1: One week later and I am sad to report a few problems...1) The cover is great, but, it just picks up too much fingerprint natural skin oil markings which are unavoidable.Then...2) In all out attempts to clean the case with any cleaner and microfiber cloths, it never really gets clean. Swirl marks prevail and it scratches easily too, even with a fingernail. It just gets worse.3) The added weight. I was willing to deal with this but it kinda takes the AIR out of the MacBook Air. It also puts undo pressure on the lid causing it to fold back with out my doing so. In the long term, this is really bad because it will affect the MacBooks cover hinge and could possibly damage it.Lastly, which may not be a problem for some, it does not fit into two of my cases because of the added thickness.I removed the cover carefully and will be forced to return it. Just not worth the hassle of using it, cleaning it and positioning the cover. The beautiful Apple aluminum silver casing is just so easy to keep clean. I am not a road warrior or a frequent flyer or a student. Its just not for me. Hope I helped. I am not trying to be too critical, certainly based on the price. For some, maybe it will work.Update #2: I reached out to the manufacturer, MOBILITY ELECTRONICS. After making them aware of the problems I was having...they sent me out a BRAND NEW one in Grey to try. This kind of excellent customer service should be recognized. I truly admire a company that stands behind there product!

The case is the correct size however the descriptions states that it is clear. It really is frosted and not truly clear. I have a skin on my MacBook and because the case is frosted you cannot see the image that is on the skin. Otherwise everything about the case is good.

I'm always working and always in a rush, which means I can be a little clumsy at times. Dropped my laptop at least twice within the year of having it enclosed in this case--protected my laptop and didn't crack either. Recurring handling in certain areas have "wiped" off the frost-like effect, leaving them completely clear. This doesn't really bother me since I purchased it for protection and not cosmetics. For the price, it's a pretty good deal.

I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised with how simple this product is and how nicely it works.It arrived in simple packaging and snapped on beautifully and simply. I thought it might be a pain to put on, but it was not. It's got a "soft touch" type feel and looks very sleek. I got the clear color and its not super clear plastic, a bit opaque but still looks very nice.I would absolutely recommend for the money!

This case is better quality that the $50 Speck I originally had and had to get replaced twice. I like it because its sturdy and brightly colored and still shows the apple logo. Can already tell this case is going to last longer for $43 less than the speck case. The bottom of it slightly irritates your wrists but every case I've had prior is so much worse. Cant beat the price or quality, I love it!

I had first bought a MOSISO case that looked exactly the same but did not fit and was twice the price of this. Buying this, I was a little worried, but it shipped quickly and fit my MacBook Air 2016 perfectly! It comes with a little photo guide for which tabs line up where. I'll edit this once i get a few months out of it.

For the price it’s great... just peals too easily the rubberized texture, but I do use my laptop very ruggedly so that could be why.

The front cover developed a small crack near a corner. I liked that it was clear.
