Great for snow sports, less so for summer sports, but they delivered what they promised!
Bought these for my wild-child snow-biking/snowmobiling boyfriend who is 40. While adventuring with his winter sport hobbies, he's had a really hard time keeping his feet dry. His feet tend to sweat which compounds the problem. These socks really helped! Normally, he won't wear anything but cotton, but says that these are the most comfy and best socks he's ever owned. They allow his feet to breathe (and let sweat dry) but do not let exterior water get inside, keeping his feet toasty and dry. Really impressed with how well these performed in the winter. An important note: if you wear these for summer sports like hiking/running, I would strongly recommend NOT walking through streams or creeks deeper than these socks are high. Once you do get water inside, they are a b**ch to dry out. Hand-washing is challenging just because you have to wring the heck out of these socks and then let them drip dry for a long time (I.E., days.) Bonus: you could use these socks as a water receptacle if you're ever lost in the woods for days on end- they hold water *that* well. This also means that they keep water OUT *that* well. Overall, an awesome sock that delivers what was promised. Just keep water on the outside, and you will be dryyyyyyyyyyyy.

Dog's Best Friend
Okay, so we didn't buy these for a person. After trying several of the dog paw socks, we gave up and got these for our Irish Wolfhound instead. He has had problems with his back feet and legs for years and drags his toes. They are worn to a nub and bleed when he gets his bandages off. We cover them with a heavy plastic bag (lactated ringers bag) and let him out to play, but they sweat in the bag. So, when he's wrapped with vet wrap now we can put the socks on him and keep his feet dry. They work great! He really does a lot of running and spinning and they keep his feet dry and they don't sweat. They're pretty sturdy and can withstand his 185 pounds dragging around in the grass (held on with velcro strips wrapped around his ankle). He's worn through some, but I just wrapped some Elastikon tape around it and he's good to go. Thank you for helping him have some fun in his pretty limited life!

Here’s what these are really for!
Waterproof socks have been around for a long time. But ever since I’ve seen them for sale I haven’t seen anybody marketing them based on practical uses for them, which I think hurts the manufacturers. There may be somebody doing that, but I haven’t seen it myself. There’s just a photo of a leg in a sock in the water, and they say it’s waterproof. Am I supposed to then walk around wearing only these socks? I don’t think so! But here’s what I find it invaluable for, and I’m sure there are other similar uses for it. I work for a furniture moving company. When it rains we still move furniture. It doesn’t matter to us. When my feet stay in wet shoes all day they get an itchy peely rash that lasts days. Well what if it rains multiple days in a row? My feet really couldn’t handle that. Why not get waterproof shoes? For one moving furniture shoes wear out quickly. Water proof shoes are expensive. Waterproof shoes also allow water over the top, and then the water is sealed in with your foot. So I say don’t even get waterproof shoes. I just get the 14 dollar wall mart shoes and wear water proof socks. Then I arrive at work when its raining feeling confident, and I splash around in puddles all day long without a care. My feet feel great day after day, and the socks last a long time. They are an awesome option for me, and I highly recommend them.

They'll keep your feet dry!
I love these. They feel a little like my wetsuit but the most important thing to me is keeping my feet dry. They don't form to your feet very well but they're comfortable. I work on a ranch all day in very muddy, wet terrain. My boots only last about 30 minutes before water seeps inside and they're water resistant. So, I needed more. I did a lot of research before buying these. 12 hours in mud and 6 inch water and my feet stayed dry! You'll want to wear shoes larger than your norm. For example, I wear a size 7 but I bought my boots a size 8 so I could wear thick socks. I'm happy I did because these socks wouldn't have fit otherwise. My feet are prone to getting cold so the extra insulation was nice but if your feet normal sweat, they definitely will with these. You could always wear a thin pair of socks under these to soak up any sweat.

More like a wetsuit
I was expecting my feet to remain dry on a three day mountain bike trip in whistler. This was not the case. At first I was thrilled. There wasn't much rain but trails were wet. A few puddles later and my feet were warm and dry. Yet by the end of the day they were wet. The next day in a fresh pair, it was raining hard all day. My feet were dry for the first 45 minutes of riding. After that they were wet, cold and the worst part was they didn't drain. So now not only do i have cold feet that are stating in a pool of muddy water, they frozen bricks at the end of my legs were now weighed down by the water that would not leave. My friends joked that I was wearing the socks inside out. I think these socks are fine for light weather, but not if you spend any time at all in the wet.I would have been better off with wool socks and plastic bags. A lot cheaper too.

Will definitely keep your feet dry but maybe also sweaty
Very water resistant! Made some rainy days infinitely more comfortable. Some days of camping/hiking/biking through endless rain adventures were greatly simplified because I had the forethought to wear these and could just wade through puddles. These are so water resistant you can basically just stick your feet in anything wet. They do not feel much like socks though. They get very very sweaty inside. They begin to reek quite badly. But they do what I wanted them for exceptionally well

Saved the excursion!
Bought these socks for my husband to take to The Boundary Waters. The first day he underestimated a Portage and filled his boots with water. These socks saved the rest of the trip! He put these on, and they were a perfect barrier between his wet boots and his dry skin! A++

Ok but not as efficient as goretex
They are totally 100% waterproof no issue there. But the comfort and breathability are not great. First there is a seamless seems that runs all the way across your foot it’s not big deal but annoying. Forget running an ultra in that you will have blisters like you wouldn’t believe. They don’t breath much if at all. It breaths less than goretex and you sweat will remain trapped inside. Conclusion is that it’s better to wear this when stepping in a puddle of water than regular socks but you would be better off with goretex socks or shoes.

Sizing may have been wrong
Stiff and bulky, not really what I was looking for and I doubt these were for women. I wear a size 6 in shoes and boots and these were way too big. Looked more like a small for men. Returned.

Good product and good quality.
I bought these socks for my son to use on a soccer game on the field when it's raining. The socks work for the main propose, the feet of my son still dry after a hole game on rain. The only concern that I have is that the socks are a little thicker than normal. Whether you have a shoe that is close to your toes, maybe will be hard to fit.

Good product. Not sure about the price...
Warm, but they feel weird putting on due to the materials. Once on they were mostly comfortable. Feet stayed warm and dry. Overpriced in my opinion for one pair.
