Works great.
These work great. They are very good quality. You must buy the refill adapter that is made for this brand. Very easy to fill and fast. Unlike trying to fill a nonrefillable you can get a full 1lb of propane in them without any problem. I get propane for less than a dollar a pound so it wont take long for me to pay for the canisters and refill valve.

Quality Cost Saving
LOVE LOVE LOVE this! Was a savings when it come to propane and not have disposables! Quality and safe refillable 1lb propane tank. I have 3 of them for various dedicated purposes for camping. The refillable adapter sold separate is also a necessary part to refill from a 20lb tank. Easy to do and a money saver when the disposable are now $6 for a 1lb can. If you do the math, a 20lb tank costing approx $22 (exchange) filling 20 1lb cans @ $1 per can.

Non-Returnable/Buyer Beware!
Deducted a Star because of the hassle I had to go through to get refunded on Two of these Fuel Keg's. The two originals were defective, and in my opinion potentially dangerous. One was obvioulsy bad and had serious corrosion on the Fill/purge valve (as pictured). The other one refused to purge propane to indicate the tank is full causing concern that It can be over pressurized. Either way I had to send images to Amazon to prove my concerns. They did eventually issue me a full refund for both. I re-ordered two more and they arrived in great shape and worked fine.

Easy to use refillable propane bottle
This product is a breeze to use. The main reason that I bought this refillable propane bottle over others is that no additional tools are required, i.e. with other brands you need an Allen wrench to open the bleeder valve. This bottle just has a small bleeder valve that you turn by hand, very convenient. I was able to fill the bottle in about 60 seconds. I used it on our last camping trip with our bbq grill and it performed as expected. I will be buying another in the near future, great product.

5 Star Product - 1 Star Customer Service
This is a great product! As you can see from many of the negative reviews, there can be some re-filling issues that are blamed on poorly designed vent valves etc. I had several of these tanks that would vent for 1-2 seconds and then stop abruptly. I cut one of them open to see how the valve system worked from the inside. What I found was a very simple and well engineered valve system with no apparent reason for the mysterious vent shutdown. Upon reflection I have a theory. The venting and rapid expansion of the vapor causes a instant and dramatic temperature drop of the entire brass valve. If there is any moisture present around the internal vent mechanism it flash freezes stopping the venting process. After a few fills of each tank there is bound to be some humid air carried into the tank (think of the ambient air in the filling unit being pushed into the tank ahead of the propane on the first tank filled). I had 3 tanks that would not fill last Friday - today (Sunday) all three filled easily.Bottom line - if you have tanks that won't fill, give them a rest and try again once they have warmed up a bit. There's probably nothing wrong with the Fuel Keg.So, why the 1 Star for customer service?Customer service does not acknowledge my emails so I assume they get a lot of complaints about this issue and their solution is to ignore their customers. Says a lot about the company.

this is a game charger!
this is awesome for my charcoal weber kettle. loooove the fact ill never have to buy another 1lb tank again. refilled once so far and it was very easy to do. seems very very durable weight wise. its easy to fill and use. standard 1lb tank size too. so will fit all internal units. functions very well.

Get rid of the adapter for other kind
I highly recommend these if you are refilling the "store bought" canisters. Using the relief valve to bleed air out of the old canisters is a pain, can cause them to not seat properly leading to leaks, and refilled ones are not legal for transporting. These cost more than the store bought ones already filled, and you have to buy the adapter which isn't cheap either. But even with the extra cost these are still a very good purchase. So much safer, a built in bleeder so you get a full can every time without trying to bleed from the relief valve. They are constructed very well, and are thicker than then other ones. I have 3 and am going to buy a couple more. Get safe and buy these...
