Littmann consistently produces the best stethoscope for your money. The Littmann Cardiology II is the choice stethoscope for most medical and nursing needs. The quality of sound is very high; with practice you will be able to detect and identify adventitious breath sounds and abhorrent beats.My first Littmann Cardiology II lasted almost 8 years; the tubing began cracking so sound quality decreased. Once this was replaced, it worked like new!A word of caution though - these are such premium and well known stethoscopes, they will get stolen if left unsecured.
