Being foldable reading glasses I bought these to take with me in a convenient pocket so I could read Menus, etc, when out and about. However, far from being left for such occasions I now find myself turning to them as my glasses of choice. I'm a bit of a sucker for a well thought out piece of engineering. These glasses fit that bill incredibly well, having spring-loaded arms and about the most effective way to minimise the required storage space I've ever come across. If I have one minor quibble, it's that I have a big head. (My problem, not the glasses). This does mean, however that they can feel initially as though they pinch a bit at the temple but you soon get used to this incredibly minor irritation for the convenience of having such a great pair of specs handy.Would heartily recommend to anyone needing a spare pair or indeed a full replacement set of glasses.

I have recently undergone Cataract operations having been virtually blind in one eye and nearly blind in the other. I now have excellent vision from what the surgeon described to me as being (20/20) Mid To Long Range vision. Anything closer than two feet away would require reading glasses. I purchased several pairs of reading glasses and wasn't that impressed to be honest until I purchased these ''Read Optics Glasses.'' They are excellent in quality throughout and fold away in a glasses case (provided) no thicker than my small finger. Although more expensive than many reading glasses these are sturdy and yet very light. It goes to show that you only get what you pay for, and as far as your eyes are concerned I think you should invest in a pair of these because of what I have just described and also because they carry a lifetime no quibble Guarantee.

When my expensive prescription glasses got sat on and were all but useless I discovered reading glasses at a fraction of the price, and since that was what I primarily needed them for I decided to take a chance. To my delight I've found these to be perfect. Sturdy, clearly well made and a nifty design that sits in an almost flat case. They're comfortable on my head and look pretty good and I can read again without the stupid expense of going back to Boots.

Read Optics offer quality reading glasses. I have used them before and hope to use them again. The glasses and case fit perfectly in the pocket and you don’t notice them there. The glasses are reasonably sturdy and the design is brilliant. Previously I was using their glasses that fold in half and slide into the case. They were good but you had to get them out and build them before use. These, you just open the case and put them on.

I love these. Small enough to fit in the case to fit in a shirt pocket or laptop bag with no worries. I have veri-focal lenses in my normal daily use but find those annoying when reading for long periods. These are easy to carry as a spare. Only down side I've found is that unlike my normal pair because of the hinge design these don't easily go on with just one hand, best done with two hands.

I bought these glasses because they were more expensive than most of the alternatives and I therefore thought that they would be more robust. I was therefore very disappointed indeed that one of the arms of the first pair I tried on worked loose on the second time of wearing and broke off entirely the third time they were worn. The suppliers claim that a refund is not possible despite the terms of the 2015 Sale of Goods Act. I find this very strange and appears to indicate that they have little faith in their own product. I will be pursuing the matter further.

Received the glasses promptly! The glasses are good quality light steel, well constructed nice folding mechanism to enable nearly flat storage in the case, screws seem like they are rivetted in, lens are good quality on the slight smaller size. Otherwise, very well made glasses certainly recommend.

I only need glasses for reading and my work and life mean I am always moving around. I had several different pairs of glasses located in bags and offices, but still could not find them when I needed them.These are great for me. They seem well built and the design is easy to use and ingenious. Easy to carry in a pocket with being bulky, I always have them with me. I bought another pair for my wife, but she would prefer a different colour. Gold would look good.Simple easy to use and convenient.
