Awesome read
Clara’s Aunt Margret has just passed after suffering from being mute and depression. So Clara has inherited a cabin in Ever Green from her. Clara has been working at the nearby diner since she was 11 after school. Margret lost her husband Jason, and Clara doesn’t remember him. The Smiths owned the diner and they were like family to Clara. Her friend Lilly Smith and Toby who were at college are coming home. So she moves there. She is met and questioned by the Mayor and other weird things happen. She meets Raine at the local eatery where she is the “manager” and helps out because the waitresses called out sick. Leia is the only one that showed up. I love Raine and Leia. I adore the little boy Kit she befriends. He is so cute and I just wanna snuggle him throughout the book. He is just so awesome. I adore Kane who is Raine’s brother and an Alpha. Boy does Clara get a rude awakening, poor thing. I really enjoyed the book and it is a roller coaster ride of emotion! Clara is pure sunshine and goodness while Kane is Mr. Grumpy giant wolfy. Jasper is just pure crazy. Idiotic, but funny. I found myself yelling at Jasper out loud a lot at his antics. There is so much going on in this book! I can’t wait to read the next one.I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

It’s great except.. (Spoilers!)
I loved this book don’t get me wrong. Compared to a lot of other PA shifter books, this is a fairly decent read, but there’s a few things that could have definitely been better.1. Grammar errors and typos. Typically I can overlook them to an extent but I’m only one of many who reads these books. I can see why it’d be distracting.2. So many sex scenes are explicitly detailed like holy. I’m a grown woman but I eventually found myself skipping the sex scenes after like the 5th time. Not to mention what happened at their mating ceremony! I have no idea why the author wanted to add another sexual/intimate moment in front of EVERYONE including their parents. Like she literally orgasmed in front of everyone while children was also present and NOBODY thought it was weird.3. The damsel and distress plot got so old. The second time she was kidnapped I irritated and by the 3rd time it was just annoying. Also like half the characters in the book are head over hills for her.4. It seemed so perfectly structured in a bad way if that makes sense. Things happened when you most expected them to. Like for example, after the mating ceremony Clara had some mental dialogue about finally feeling the possessiveness over Kane and behold! Miss unknown female walks into the suite, nobody knows who she is, and tries to make a move on our big bad alpha. After that it never shows another scene where she gets any sort of jealousy. Moments like that are hard not to notice. And finally, the ending felt so rushed after a long book. It took me a while to read this but I felt like it could have been better if the issues they faced wasn’t drawn out for so long and then all the stuff after was crushed in the last 9% percent of the book. In just the last chapter and epilogue, we see her have her heat, get pregnant, her kids all grown up, they find their mates, she gains 4 brothers, and her sons leave to find their mate. So much info shoved at the end it’s confusing.Despite all this I still liked the book, but it definitely could have been even better.

Spicy, exciting, and emotional.
This book will take you from the human world to the supernatural on an epic ride. The characters and story flow very well. I can't wait to read where it goes from here! Well done.

Omg!!
Spoilers!! Okay I read twinning and sinning first last year and loved it but didn't look too much into the under the moon series!! Reading this book and discovering at the end the two are related made my heart burst and jaw drop!!! Vera foxx has such a fun world! This was definitely a detailed book and I was thankful for every little thing she included into it. There was tons of conflict and unlike most books, the fmc was so strong and could save herself. Ugh this book was so sweet. I thought it felt familiar but that's just because I had read the other one first. They're both true standalones and I'm glad I read the first one and then this because this one was a journey and the other was just a ton of fun and I already knew spoilers for what would happen next but only at the very end of the book! I got to feel like Eden. It's funny as I was starting to read the end and I was like wouldn't it be funny if it was like the other shifter book I read and sure enough as I read through, it was indeed that book!! Good, fun read!

yawn
It’s a dual perspective book and these two characters are as deep as a puddle. They essentially only think maybe two unique sentences on repeat throughout the entire book. On top of that, the perspectives overlap so you’ll finish reading one scene and then read the same scene again… just with the pronouns switched.I read a lot of fantasy, and I’ve never really thought that disdain for werewolves was merited… until now.If you’ve ever seen that over-the-top PDA couple in line at a theme park and thought to yourself, “I’d love to read a whole book about them as werewolves.” Then this is the book is for you.

The book that kept giving
This book is absolutely amazing, at this point I have read every book that Vera has written and I can not wait to read them all over again.Vera is very talented, the world/realms she brings to life as well as the details just really lets you feel like your apart of the book.Clara and Kanes story truly starts it all, something that thrilled me and made me want to skip books is at the end, Vera leaves little clues about upcoming books and it's something that makes you question, do I keep reading the books in order or do I skip to this book because I'm that pumped for it.Vera is known to give the grumpy males who are obsessed with their females and she nails every time.
