I just installed it on the ceiling of my garage, and haven't used it much, but out of the box and through installation the quality is solid, came with good installation hardware, and immediately worked as expected. It seems to be of good enough quality to last well. I am happy with the purchase.

Worked out fine it was a replacement for a hand cranked one. Price was right.

Works great only 2 complaints. The leader hose to the compressor is 37 inches long not 42 inches as stated in the description. Then it's great they include concrete anchors to mount it but I'm sure most of us buying this product are mounting to a wood stud or beam. So if you are looking to buy this just be prepared to buy a longer leader hose to the compressor if your mounting more than 32 inches away from the compressor and some lag bolts to mount to a stud or beam. Over all a good deal just not very well thought out for mounting it. Would this have stopped me from buying it? No, just would have been nice to have a heads up so I could have ordered what I needed when it came.

I haven't written many reviews on products, I expect things to work and that's it. And this product did, until it didn't. The air hose is good quality, well built and easy to use. I had my air hose reel for about a year, then the internal spring broke. I didn't expect much from the company, but I reached out to them about a warranty. I was totally surprised by the excellent customer service I received. They responded to my initial email quickly, then subsequent emails even quicker! After a couple of short emails between us they had already shipped a replacement unit to me. All of this happened in one day. I am really impressed with not only the air reel, but the customer service too, that makes a lot of difference to me. I was emailing with Mary at Giraffe Tools, and she was AWESOME!!! If I ever need another air reel, or can recommend an air reel to anyone it will be from Giraffe Tools, and it will be because of the customer service.

This hose reel was fine while it lasted. After 2 1/2 years it wore out a plastic part and the ratchet doesn't work anymore. It is always trying to roll the hose back in. I guess for $90, it was worth the money.

Have to try multiple times to get it to wind up. Gets hung up**update ....sent me a new one free of charge
