Good quality and reminds me of being a kid.
Bought this for my wife after she'd been trying to use our daughter's without any success at all. I'd read that the reason for that was probably because it was too small (a hoop needs to reach to approximately your belly button from the ground). Having done an awful lot more reading (and more than a guy of my age should need to do about hoola hoops) I learnt that travel hoops are handy and quite usual for both storage and obviously travel. I also read that the weight of this one seemed about ideal and that it didn't have inner bumps that can cause bruising on other models. It arrive promptly in a huge box and was very easy to put together. I had a go and on my first attempt was rubbish, but on my second managed over 50. My daughter then did over 1300 before she got bored. My wife has managed to do a couple... so anyone can use it :)Good bit of kit and seems to be good for exercise as well as my wife looks very flushed after using it.

Perfect
Had a 1.2kg weighted hula hoop that I've been using for a couple of years, developed stomach (acid) problems with it so sought a lightweight one. This is perfect, have used it several times now, up to half hour at at a time with no problems at all. It's exactly the right size for me (I'm 5"6). Very easy to assemble - no kink in the hoop once assembled (as other reviews have said - guess they've been handled roughly in the post so need returning/replaced?).A google search made me think I'd probably burn as many calories using this one as the weighted one. I can see why: because it's lighter, you need to work a little bit harder to keep it up to start with. After a while though, like most hoops, you get used to it, so burning calories isn't a chore. Safe to say I love it and can recommend.

Lovely hoop with perfect weight for hula hooping without getting bruised
I love this hoop. It isn't so heavy that it bruises me, but is heavy enough to make it easy to keep it going. I would point out that there is a tiny label advising you not to twist the hoop to open it up in the first place. I nearly didn't notice the label and would have ruined the hoop straight off if I had proceeded to try and open the hoop up by manipulating it. You need to undo the join by pressing a little catch in, and then you can proceed to open it up, try to get it into a circle, and then put it together at the join again. It wasn't that easy, but I did it, and it is now perfect for me. Have to say that I don't think I will take it apart again now that I have got it into a big hoop, so can't comment on how easy that would be.

Perfect
Great price, and super quick delivery even during a pandemic. It arrived in its “travel size” and all I had to do is click the button, unravel and click back in once a full hoop had appeared.I’m weak AF, so to help me, I put my foot on the bottom of the hoop while clicking in the top.It took me no more than 30 seconds to take out the packing and assemble full shape.Ten seconds later I was already hula hooping in my kitchen.Great purchase. Recommend for anyone not wanted to spend a ton of money. It is weighted but not weighted that it will leave you bruised.

Both the seller and product are highly recommended.
I was disappointed with the finish of the tape used on this hoop. In the photos there aren't any raised sections but the hoop supplied to me is full of them - on the edges, I mean. Update on this point: Now that the hoophas been opened from its 'travel' position for several hours the ragged edges of the tape have disappeared.I had to use quite a bit of brute force in order to make the two parts fit together via the internal tube. It clicks into place when fully 'home'. I am large and heavy - but lovely with it. For me, I wish that I had bought this hoop before I bought the type with the internal bumps, which are said to massage the waist and assist with reduction of same. I have the patience of job but I almost got to the point of giving up. So many people have praised the aforementioned hoop but all I got out of it so many bruises and a slightly deflated ego. I am so pleased that I bought the Pro Travel Hoop because I have instantly had much more success in a matter of minutes than I have had in several cumulative hours with the 1st hoop that I bought. The size and weight are perfect.I should also add that I had a very rapid, informative, courteous response from the seller - Flames 'N Games - when I sought advice.

Love this hoop!
Great hoop for waist hula hooping. Packaged well, looks like two hoops but you unclip and make one larger hoop (don’t twist it as others have stated!) It looked a little oval shaped when I first clipped it together but after using for a bit was round. Hoop is a good size for my 5 ft 1 height. I previously had a 1.2kg padded one which left me covered in bruises, but this one does not. You have to work fairly hard to keep it spinning as it’s lighter and I really felt it the next day (tip: don’t overdo it to begin with!) Overall a fab and brightly coloured hoop.

Best weighted hoop ever!!
Have been after a weighted hoop for ages, but couldn’t find one without the lumps and bumps. This is perfect, it’s easy to hoola with, and very comfortable too.

When is a circle not round - when it's oval!
Very disappointed in this hoop. The connector doesn't align properly and it was a helluva struggle to get it to clip together. The result is that there is no curve at that point leaving the hoop oval. Also, it doesn't feel weighted at all. It is also thicker than standard hula hoops, which is to be expected when it's weighted, except this one isn't.It came in the most ridiculous oversized box. I cannot imagine they couldn't find a smaller, more economical container. I would send it back, but like others can't be bothered with all that palaver, which is probably what they're banking on (literally). Not a happy hooper.
