Magnet strength is great and case construction is rigid and secure. Magnet: very strong, requires a little effort to remove after placing, makes me feel very reassured that it will not fall off no matter how bumpy the road is. Case: quality, feels robust, has nice immobilizing foam on both sides to securely hold a key or something very fragile. Latches are sturdy and definitely will not come open on their own. It is also larger than a standard key holder so it would fit even the largest car key or can fit some other item in with it.

High quality it’s really weather proof. And the 3 strong magnets makes this box unbeatable and very worth it!

I kept locking my key in the car so I purchased this to hide a spare key. The three magnets were surprisingly powerful. When close to a solid metal surface, the magnetic pull will cause the case to jump from you grip and slam onto a metal surface with authority. It requires a firm grip and peeling motion to remove it. These magnets are not glued on, each have a phillips screw mounting them to case. This case is very sturdy, thick plastic. The lid doesnt flex or bend, it opens and closes solid. The lid and base line up perfectly. 4 clips hold the lid tightly closed. Inside is a piece of foam. It keeps your spare key held tight, preventing it from rattling around. There is also a rubber o-ring to keep moisture and water out. Where I live the local tow company's charge 260.00 for their lockout service. So I find it a great value for the money. If you have a fab with the key sticking straight out, the ones that do not fold, it may be a little too small. Its too small for my full key fab but the spare without buttons fits great. Its like a little pelican case for a spare key. I like it. It works well and the strong magnets give you peace of mind it will remain right where you left it. If the need arises for another, I will purchase this one again.

This is a great lockbox. The magnets are super strong. It’s large enough to hold several keys. What’s really nice is that it’s waterproof.

The proximity key fob for my 2025 GMC Sierra pickup fits inside this magnetic key holder nicely, The holder has 3 stong magnets that are powerful and they are screwed not glued to the box. So the box should stay where it is put and rust shoud not result in loss of my expensive key fob. The gasket and 4 closure snaps that seal the box look and feel as if the box will remain water tight. I put the box on one of the few (and hard to reach) metal surfaces under the rear of the truck. To my surprise, from that spot the fob does NOT allow the engine to be started which was bteer than I had hoped. If the signal from the fob to the truck ignition had allowed the truck to start I pllaned to wrap the fob in aluminum foil. BJ.

I would have given 5 stars - based on initial impression. Until I see its long-term performance, I will stick with 4 stars. Seems pretty rugged. Magnets are quite strong. Key/fob fits the case. Based on other reviews, I removed the magnet screws and added Locktite to the threads. I also found a horizontal flat surface to attach it. Also made extra sure the latches were snapped securely. Put the key/fob in a plastic baggie just in case a leak develops. Time will tell.

This thing is tough! The magnets are so strong it can be difficult to pull it off. It is much bigger than I expected. But I need the space.
