The WondLa Trilogy (Boxed Set): The Search for WondLa; A Hero for WondLa; The Battle for WondLa Paperback – June 13, 2023

I ordered these, because we enjoyed the Spiderwick Chronicles. We have six children from 8 to 18. I read these,l and absolutely loved them! I have always enjoyed DiTerlizzi’s artwork, and the illustrations inside are gorgeous. I expect that all of my kids will enjoy having these in our family library.

I bought this trilogy for my 13-year-old. She was busy finishing up another book so I thought I’d take a look. I have to say it’s a great read. It is its own story but definitely reminiscent of Brave New World, Planet of the Apes, Hunger Games, 1984 and Star Wars. I read the trilogy in a weekend and enjoyed it. I can definitely see it being made into a movie.Now, she is reading them and seems to absolutely love them. She said, “definitely put 5 Stars.”

Creative, charming and fun! Great for your 3rd and 4th graders. While the illustrations are an important part of the book, they do not overwhelm the text or turn this series into graphic novels. They support the text and reward careful observation. My 9 year old son loves this series !
